Woodland Hill Stay

Very luxurious rooms, well decorated, well maintained. Staffs are very polite, helpful. Moutain view from room is awesome. Very good location. Outside of the hotel is also very beautiful with colourful flowers. Hussle free, cozy environment extremely comfortable rooms. Never miss to go on Terrace which is amazing one..

This little gem is tucked away and a bit hard to find. It is in a nice and quiet location. The rooms are reasonably big, spacious and comfortable and have a nice view. The breakfast is nice and the staff Alan and Kerry are very receptive. The only issue if I was to nitpick is that the water capacity of the geyser is a little bit low for the cold winter nights - so keep the geyser on all the time. Also, conserve warm water as much as possible if you're on double occupancy.

Had an amazing 3 days stay at Woodland. Very comfortable rooms and hygienic setting. The staff if ultra courteous and on point hospitality. Carey was a great great host. We missed the breakfast here but smelled it every morning and it was beautiful. Also the location is very good and walkable to all great spots.

A good cost-effective stay at a nice location in Shillong. Rooms are spacious, you can accommodate three persons in one room with extra bed and a thousand Rs extra charges. Toilets are clean, Dinning area at terrace offers good view and the Breakfast is good.They have a small parking area which can accommodate about three cars.

Very nice, quiet, central property with polite staff. They could afford to improve in several areas though. One of the rooms was not the right kind that we booked. They said we could move into the bigger room (which we originally booked) later, but we had already settled in. There was a lingering sewage smell in both rooms' bathrooms, which seeped into the room. No amount of freshners or spray helped. The room heater was ancient and too inadequate for the size of our rooms, so it was of no help for the cold. Had to keep it inches away from ourselves to feel any warmth. One room was not properly swept or mopped when we moved in, lot of dust in the corners. Room service, while extremely polite and cooperative, kept forgetting one thing of the other every day--a second towel, hand towels, new soap, second toothbrush. Could step up their game a bit. Oveall a pleasant stay, but so many small things could be improved to up the quality significantly.

Breakfast is biggest week point of this stay. No hotel staff care if you ask them to bring even single extra bread. Highly charges on their food if you order for lunch or dinner. Be prepared with limited breast menus and quantities as well.

My three-day stay at Woodland Hill Stay was nothing short of amazing. Waking up to the serenity of the hills, the warmth of the hosts, and the cozy charm of the place made it feel like a home away from home. I'll definitely be back!

Booked 3 months back with 8 people, followed up every week to confirm the booking. On the day of travelling, followed up with them and confirmed 4 rooms and left Guwahati, just 1 hour before reaching the hotel. I got the call that booking is cancelled. Please don't fall into trap of ratings, you can get better options
