Urban Tavern Shillong

Don't go with the looks, the rooms are photogenic only, very dirty no maintenance, only good is the stuff boys are responsive. The rooms were smelly, bed sheets were burnt with cigarettes and full of stains. The king size room is the worst of all. Rooms are well equipped, well decorated but due to lack of maintenance it's not worth staying, the location is also a bit sketchy. For bachelors it's okay stay but not for families.

The most stingiest Owner ever... Won't even spare you for few rupees. Even charged 600 extra for 6hrs early arrival before Check in time for a room which was evidently empty and wasn't occupied by any guest prior. Also no proper waiting room or reception The wifi doesn't work well the TV doesn't work(wifi isn't reachable). Under construction building too noisy for resting. Won't even get breakfast(even paid) as listed on the site nor is any shop nearby.

A very cozy room with polite staffs and cleanest rooms . Had a good time there

This place is such a SCAM! Please don't stay here if you are coming with your family. This hotel is under construction and not even ready. There is no reception or anything.The standard room in first floor was in the middle of staff rooms where driver and other staffs sleeps. The sofas were unclean, torn and old, bedsheets looked used. The delux room had no commod lid. They said breakfast will be ready by 8 AM but the staffs woke up at 8 30 am only after we called the owner. Heard that they are running the place like this for last 2 - 3 years!!! We had booking for two days but had to leave after spending a night!
