Renu ji even helped my friends in giving me a surprise pre birthday party , which is a warm feeling. We arrived late - exhausted and irritated but the immediate service of tea biscuits made us feel at home I wish I could've stayed more

It is a home away from home. Just the perfect place we needed to unwind and relax after long travels with kids. Aunty is an extremely friendly and kind host. She was sweet enough to share their own meals(pasta,cake) with our kids and us. She cooked separate food for kids and us,which was extremely sweet of her. Rooms are comfortable, clean with a good bedding and blankets . House is tastefully done. Situated in one of the best localities. Also it's a steal for the price . Definitely recommend it for families and anyone who is looking for some quiet and peace and homely feeling

We had a lovely time staying at Tiggi's on our visit to Shillong. The rooms, cleanliness, service and the hosts are impeccable. Renu, her family and her staff were so warm and accommodating and made us all very comfortable in the time we stayed with them. The homestay is located in the heart of the city making it very accessible and convenient to go to other places in and around Shillong. We are already looking forward to coming back and staying at this gorgeous home once again. Big love to Renu and her team!

It was a pleasure to stay with Renuji at her home. We reached at the homestay late in the evening after a long day of driving and this place felt like heaven after a tiring day. Our room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the bed sheets clean and the blankets kept us perfectly warm. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The garden had beautiful trees with flowers and was decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the home made cake as well. We interacted mainly with Renuji and her manager, Firoz. Both were very kind, courteous and attentive to our needs. Overall it was a very good stay and well recommended.

We were a group of women who took up the whole homestay for a week in November. It's a lovely home nestled in a quiet residential area with green spaces all around. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean and done up well. There is enough cupboard space to store clothes etc for a longer stay. We stayed in the room at the back which has a long balcony attached to it. We had the heady scent of the raat ki rani tree and gentle moonlight streaming in! It was also nice to read there in the warm morning sun with a cup of tea. The food is homely, prepared with care and quite tasty. Firoz, Meena and Simila are the staff members there who are always around to help and make arrangements for the guests comfort. Renu is the warmest host, greeting us with big hugs, fun conversations and tons of information about local sights, events and interesting novelty shops. She patiently answered all our queries before we visited about amenities, travel and weather. We can't wait to return to this home away from home soon!

We were a group of 5 and we stayed here for 6 nights. The host Renu and her staff were very warm and accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean, and well maintained. The smell of the raat ki raani blossoms was heavenly at night. The location is very good, close to the shops and markets. We are definitely coming back next year and will book here again. Thank you Renu for being such a warm and hospitable host.
