The Pear Tree - Best Hotels in Shillong

Dont book by seeing the inside pictures. They dont post the outside view of hotel. Its in midst of a very crowdy traffic clumpsy area and the road to reach the hotel is very narrow. Room look wise good but not neat and its dusty. Breakfast is very limited. Bathroom has no cloth hangers. The area and location is too bad.

Stayed for 5 days, price was nominally good as compared to few other places that we saw. Rooms were good, owner and the staff was friendly and they helped us in getting taxis booked. Only thing that they need to work upon is their menu for breakfast as they serve almost the same thing everyday. Lunch is not available and dinner is available only on request.

Really good hotel. We stayed overnight on the ground floor room. Really good one.

we booked one suit and one deluxe room for 4 adults and four kids at their second floor, and both the rooms were fabulous. room size too good. ambience, cleanliness, staff , food everything is just superb. toilets are clean and tidy and 24*7 hot water available with room heater. room service, additional mattress , clean towels and bedsheets and blankets- are some of the things which makes this place a must stay place in shillong.

A very special thanks to VICKY Sir the owner of the property for great hospitality. We spent 3 nights and 4 days there, belive me that was our good decision to be there. Room was clean and well organised. Food was delicious. You can enjoy the watching of pear tree and local locality from balcony.

It's a great place to stay. Location is perfect, not in city center, but within walkable distance from city center. This place is very well maintained..Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the Owner(Dhiraj). Vicky and other Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped in making a good itinerary and booked the local taxi and cab. Room was spacious and comfortable. ||I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.||Thank you Dhiraj for being a nice host.

1. The place is in some lane. Would be difficult for you to reach by yourself. 2. Room was fine for a 1 night stay. Don't book this for more than that. We had a balcony room on 1st floor. 3. Limited capacity - we asked for Chole puri in the breakfast and was told its over. 4. They charged 4k/night all inclusive but I think this is overpriced. It should not be more than 3K AI.
