The Loft - Executive Inn

We had a pleasant one-night stay at The Loft, a charming and comfortable hotel ideal for a short getaway. The location is quite convenient, situated just 3 kilometers from the bustling Police Bazaar and the serene Ward's Lake.||The hotel offers all the essential amenities for a cozy stay. Given the chilly weather, the staff thoughtfully provided us with an air blower and a hairdryer -- always with a warm smile.||Breakfast was included in our stay, and while the spread wasn't extravagant, it featured a selection of simple yet satisfying options like Poori Bhaji, Bread-Toast, Idli Sambhar, Omelette, Tea, Coffee, and Juices. Among them, the Poori Bhaji stood out as the most delightful.||With a price range of 3,000-4,000 per night and a prime location, The Loft offers excellent value for money. It's a great choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. Additionally, parking is ample, making it a hassle-free stay for those arriving in their own vehicle.||Definitely a recommended stay!

Beautiful Rooms with kind and friendly staff. Would appreciate less calls on the room phone from staff (some people are in bed early) and a notice that parking at the hotel is not possible, because police blocks the streets after 5PM till 9PM or something. Breakfast is good and enough. Would visit again

This is a good and comfy place to stay, call them and book for better prices, its in a good location too. The rooms are very beautiful and clean, there are different prices based on view/balcony. You can just opt for the non-view rooms, since there isn't that view. You can get the views all along Shillong. You are not gonna use the balcony either. The food's time taking by the way. The wait time's gonna be min. 1hr to make anything except desserts, The food's good btw.

CHEATS!! AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. If ever I've felt cheated staying at any hotel property then hands down it's this one. I booked premium room with balcony for Rs 6500 per day. The room has no view and all I can see is a plastic covered sheet below which is their restaurant. Totally different from the photos on Agoda. By actual standards this hotel doesn't even qualify for a star rating. I had clearly selected 2 adults and 1 child in my booking but to my surprise the reception person tells me that children over 6 years are adult. Forced me to pay Rs 2688 extra for 2 days. I asked them what extra service does the child get and the reply I got was complimentary breakfast. Told them I'll pay for his breakfast separately but they wouldn't listen. The hotel management is so cheap that they have kept a list of items in the room which if you damage, break or is lost you have to pay exorbitant prices. I am attaching a photo of the same. Thanks to the management for ruining the first day of my trip. Really disappointed with Google how this place has a 4 star rating on your portal.

Positives: 1. Spacious rooms. 2. Rooms have good accessories but lack basic things like shower cap inspite of having overhead shower. 3. Room service is okay-ish. Negetives: 1. No room heater provided, very much needed during winters. 2. Food is okay ish, breakfast menu is small 3. Far from police bazaar.

Bala & Yahoon at the front office along with other staff members of the office, restaurant, security, are highly empathetic and excellent in their services. However, management has to review the following points: 1.Bed should be prepared with fresh covers and linens everyday. We stayed for three nights and never it was changed. 2. The toiletries are minimum compared to other hotels with similar room tariff range. Shaving kit is a must. 3. The approach passage of the restaurant from the rooms should be renovated thoroughly to have easy access. If the aforesaid points are taken for action, the hotel could be the dream destination.

We had a harrowing experience at the hotel. The lights, toilet flush were not working, water supply was not available in the washroom. The staff was uncooperative. The silver lining was the dining room where the staff was very polite and the food was good.

The Hotel Rooms are excellent, well maintained . Staff is also very polite and helpful. Food in the Mango restaurant is good and the staff is really courteous. Enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Highly recommended !!!
