The Cozy Nest Homestay, Lumshyiap Shillong

We stayed for one night, and it was a good choice (if you are only there for sleeping.) The grandpa at the homestay was a sweet person. I would suggest this place for a night's stay. The road to the homestay is steep and narrow, making it inaccessible for large vehicles. There is parking available for one car at the homestay. We didn't have a problem with our Tata Tiago.

A marvelous experience, few kilometers away from the hustle of the city, nestled on the slope of a hillock of about 5000 ft above sea level. Rooms are with wooden flooring suitable mainly for couples along with availability of room heaters, free wifi, hot showers, breakfast and tea- coffee arrangements. Hosts were awesome. Even they have pick up and drop facility from PB, but on payment basis. Driving on the curvy and hilly roads of Meghalaya do need quite a bit of experience, so if you have a car they can provide you with a driver. At the end of the trip the host's family feels like your own, especially the parents.

Our stay was for 5 days. The host is very nice and his family too. Felt like family stay. A very good stay and price was worth with complimentary breakfast. I recommend to stay at this place. Steve is very friendly and cooperative. Location is just 3 km from Police Bazar . Even you can walk to the police bazar by walk or by taxi for Rs 30 per person or by booking from Rs 200 to Rs 300.

The rooms are very clean. The family is a gracious host. They're very helpful. For the price it is a good value for money. 10/10 would recommend.

I would recommend this place if you are solo and looking for privacy. Host is a nice person ready to help.
