Silver brook Shillong Homestay

They gave biscuits for breakfast and after a lot of disagreement they gave 2bread pieces each for me and my friend. I am pretty sure even they don't take this for breakfast.After we complained about the breakfast the hotel owner stopped answering our call Also the staff is clueless and said that they give this breakfast to every guest. Ridiculous service and hospitality. Never going to visit this BNB again. Highly inappropriate service. Ghosting the guests after taking the full payment and denying refund. Very unprofessional!!!!

Worst kind of scam happened in here. The location given here is a false location. It is not located near this jawaharlal nehru stadium, polo ground, its a fraud so that people book this place during any concerts in the stadium. This place is 40 mins away in upper shillong. We had to suffer a lot due to this scam online. Searching this place we were in the middle of nowhere. They were not even sending the live location. They gave us so much trouble.

The wrong place shown on the map, I got into so much trouble because of this. Please fix the location. This homestay is not in Shillong, it is near Cherapunji.

Disappointing Experience at Hotel Silver Brook Resort I recently stayed at Hotel Silver Brook Resort and was thoroughly disappointed with the overall experience. First off, the service was far from satisfactory. The staff seemed uninterested in attending to guests' needs, and basic requests were either ignored or delayed. Speaking of prices, the room charges were outrageously high for the quality provided. The experience simply didn't match the cost. I felt like I was paying luxury rates for a below-average experience. To top it off, they charged GST on MRP for bottled water, which is completely unethical and illegal. The MRP (Maximum Retail Price) already includes GST, so charging extra taxes is a blatant violation of consumer rights. This really left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the hotel experience was far below what I expected, and I wouldn't recommend staying here unless they make some serious improvements.

Most pathetic hotel, they will never provide booked rooms. Our room provided to others and provided us room of their choice. Receptionist was no answer, most 3rd class lady, don't know the S of service. Bad behaviour. Behave like you are staying free and they are helping you

Rooms are quite smaller in size, The Food is amazing. Nearby places are beautiful check in from 11 am to 9pm and checkout also same. Last dinner time is 7pm after that no food is being prepared. Bathrooms and rooms are clean , Bed sheets are dirty, Room service is good, Rooms are noisy and not noise proof also (outside noise comes). Best for Couples not for family's.Dorms are also available. Overall its a yes place for me.Didn't face any difficulties

Pillows were dirty. Rooms were not clean. Check photographs for the hygiene they are maintaining. After rain water entered our room. You can check the video for same. They do offered us their premium suit, but that was not useful for us as we were two families travelling together and their was only one washroom.
