Silver Brook Resort Mylliem Upper shillong

The place is lovely and you could possible have the best time yet. The only thing that's bad here is the service. Also I feel like they're operating to rob money. There's been water problem which they don't attend to. The water heater doesn't work and we need to do everything by ourselves. They are charging us 4300 but the experience is of 300 bucks. Very disappointing. Also the place stinks right outside our door

Stayed in the dormitory, which was really a bad experience. The hotel staff allowed the other guests at the dormitory to have drinks, smoke and party all night which kept me awake for a king time. Also they mentioned that the dormitory was having mountain view but ironically it had no windows. They had two rooms with dormitory but gave me the one that was occupied with three other guest instead of the other which was empty, i even requested them to allot me that one, which they refused saying that it was booked.

The place was under renovation which was not mentioned earlier. When we reached there it was almost completely different from what we saw in photos. The cleanliness was at its worst especially the toilets were dirty and broken ceramics and fittings.

They charge 4,200 for a triple bed and 3,200 for a double bed. The room location is great, allowing you to escape the hustle of traffic. The rooms are medium-sized, but there is no wardrobe. We paid half as an advance for our booking. The food is okay, but the kitchen closes at 7:30 PM, so you need to place your order earlier. Only morning tea is complimentary; everything else requires payment.

The place here is cool but the services over here is pathetic Waste of money and the housekeeping staff don't listen to any of the complaint given. There's no running water 24 x7 , no running hot water as the place is very cold infact one of the closest place in shillong. Come at your own risk.

Worst experience.. the service was really poor had to remind multiple times to get small things done...ignorance towards customers..took bonfire for 1000 rupees didn't even give extra woods they demanded 50 rupees for one piece of extra woods.. even the food was not up to the mark and no electricity n water in the morning even the greaser was not working ... would not recommend this place can get better resorts for this price

Very beautiful place to wander...one must book it to enjoy a serene atmosphere and the staffs are really very good..they maintain hygiene and security...hope to visit once again...

The beststay in shillong...the rooms were so beautiful and perfect..the host are very responsive u call them anytime and asked for any help they are ready to give their best .. so if u r planning to stay away from the crowds and don't want to get stucked in city as usual this could be the perfect stay for u guys
