Lalam Homestay

I stayed at the homestay as a last minute booking to attend the Bryan Adams concert. The owner, Mr Lambert, was gracious enough to allow me an early check-in, understanding my situation. The stay was very pleasant, and the staff was cordial, attentive, and helpful. The location is close to the major locations. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and have plans to visit again for a longer duration.

Reviewing this property while I am staying here. 1) The rooms are quite good - TV, cupboard, tables, attached toilet, proper curtains, charging points near the bed, toilet paper, soap, wifi are available. 2) Now the equally great thing is - the owner of this property and its staff is exceptionally amazing, funny, humble. I won't say one of the best, rather the best property owner(and staff) ever witnessed in my entire trips I have done in my life within India. Kudos! 3) Car parking facility is available 4) The terrace provide an extremely jaw-dropping view of the shillong city 5) The temperature right now at 5 am , 21 Nov 2024 is 10deg. 6) We negotiated the room price to a very decent one. 7)They have 3 different menus available from different restaurants where you can order your food. 8) Geyser is also provided 9) One of the staff members even helped us commute all the way till one of the food outlets via their scooty. Overall, a beyond amazing experience

We had a happy stay at Lalam, the owner was very friendly n helpful. And the price of the room was perfect compared to other hotels in and around the city. And one of the best things in Lalam home stay was that they kept rooms and bathrooms neat and clean, which really enhanced our mood to stay there. And it's a bit away from bursting city which is also to freshen up ourselves after day long hectic site visits.So, overall I had enjoyed staying there.

The hotel is just at the top of hill, so you might face face some problems, but the owner and the staff has very nice behaviour. The location is bit far from city centre but the view and atmosphere there is the best you can have in shillong, Rooms are of affordable rates and the owner is very open minded so he can give some concession too. He arranges the transportation as well.

Amazing experience in Lalam Homestay. Room was neat & clean. Rooftop view of shilong was so beautiful. The guy who served us name younus, he is very helpful. Will come back once again if we visit in Meghalaya. Thanks to the Lalam Dada & his team to give us the best support!

I recently stayed at Lalam Homestay and had an exceptional experience. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I highly recommend Lalam Homestay for its great service, fantastic food, and warm hospitality.

The location is best.. From top the best view.. During diwali time... Today was my last day on that homestay hope with my friends another time to come here.. And thank you for the free wifi
