Isabella travellers Hostel

I stayed in Isabella Hostel when i visited Shillong. it was Damn Crazy experience there. I met a lot of travellers and amazing people there and made friends for life. The owner Raj is also a wonderful person and is helpful as well. The vibe of the hostel is crazy and there is in house cafe as well. The rooms are decent as per the price and parking is available. Rental two wheelers are also available in the hostel. There is bonfire every night and it was one of the best stays in Shillong. Must Visit

I had an incredible experience at Isabella travellers Hostel in Shillong! I arrived late at night, desperately in need of a place to stay, and they welcomed me with open arms. The host was extremely accommodating and made the check-in process quick and hassle-free, even at such an odd hour. The stay was clean, comfortable, and cozy, providing much-needed rest after a long journey. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring Shillong the next day. I'm truly grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend Isabella travellers Hostel to anyone visiting the city, especially traveler who might need a reliable and safe place at night.

I had the best time staying at Isabella Travels Hostel in Shillong! Raj Bhai was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make my stay special, offering great tips on exploring the city and its hidden gems. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for a budget traveler, while the common areas were vibrant and great for meeting fellow travelers. The location was ideal--close to the city center yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. It was truly a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Shillong!

I stayed in Isabela hostel it was a really good experience. The owner Hubert is a friendly guy he helped me alot to prepare my itinerary during the stay . They do provide good food. Highly recommended

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hostel. I accidentally left my power bank in the cafe area, and when I realized it an hour later, I immediately called to let them know. They assured me they would return it when I came back to collect it. But when I returned, they handed me an old, non-functional power bank and claimed it was mine. I questioned them about it, and instead of offering any sort of solution or apology, the staff brushed me off with an attitude, saying, "It's not our problem that you forgot it." They completely ignored the fact that it was their responsibility to ensure items were returned properly. Yes, I take responsibility for forgetting it, but that does not justify the rude, dismissive attitude or the unprofessional behavior I encountered. The manager's response was not just disappointing; it was downright disrespectful. I've never experienced such a lack of basic customer service. This was a truly frustrating and upsetting ordeal, and I would never trust this hostel with my belongings again.

Issabella Backpackers has a good location, making it convenient for travelers. However, the doors don't close properly due to poor maintenance, which was quite frustrating. What made it worse was that the hosts smoke late at night, and since the doors don't close properly, the smoke spreads inside, making it an uncomfortable experience.

I stayed here for 2 days & 3 nights. Location is in the city centre which makes it more awesome, You can make it your base and travel around shillong from here. The staff Mr. Raj biswa is very friendly and welcoming. You won't feel like a stranger to him. He made me maggie at 12:30 night because I was hungry and my check in was at 11:30 pm , he waited for me to come. Overall I had a very nice stay here. I might visit soon to explore more of Shillong

Immaculately clean rooms and communal areas -Comfortable beds and pillows - Friendly owner - Secure entry and 24/7 reception - Perfect location: rs 30 if you taxi from police bazar - Affordable price I highly recommend to budget conscious travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and community. Ideal for solo travelers, backpackers, and groups. Made great memories with fellow travelers.
