Hotel Knight Inn Shillong

Awful experience staying here. Rooms not clean enough, no proper buckets/ mugs in wash rooms. Water seeping in the dining room. Ours was an office trip in Feb 2025 and the hotel stay experience was one of the bad aspects. Apparently the hotel was closed for some time and now reopened and under renovation. Please cross check before booking here.

Though the hotel was first impressed by the khasi song from the movie 9 Lad. But thats only in the reel world. In reality, the hotel has a lot that needs to be done. The site is smelly, the washroom is dirty. Not for a differently-abled person.

I don't know why it has bad rating. I stayed there last night, 1500 for single , and Everything was perfect, Rooms were clean, geysar was working fine, room service and their behavior was very nice. Food was also good.

Nearer to all tourist places. The reception staff are very good and responsive. I stayed there for two days.

Very poor and pathetic condition of the room and bathroom. The curtain and bedsheets were not washed for years it seems as it was so dirty. The dirty bathtub looked like feces in tub also had globs of hair in it. Also, in bathroom I found both lavatory and Indian next to each other which seems shocking as I have never seen it in any of the hotels till now. The rooms that was shown in pictures was entirely different. I had a horrible experience staying there one night so we cancelled the booking for the next day and booked somewhere else. Pls don't book this hotel if you want a good and peaceful night with your family.
