Hotel Abode Shillong- The Residency

I stayed at the executive deluxe room and it was very spacious and one of the best washrooms I have seen in this price range. The concierge Rohit was very helpful and resourceful and had very good positive energy. The location may be far from the city centre but it's very close to the taxi stand.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really made my stay exceptional, however, was the incredible support and hospitality from the manager, Rohit. From the moment I arrived, Rohit went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. Whether it was helping with local recommendations, arranging transportation, or responding promptly to any requests, he was always attentive and genuinely caring. His professionalism and kindness made a big difference and truly elevated my experience. Thank you, Rohit, for making my stay so memorable! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable visit.

Stayed there for 02 nights. Rooms are small but clean. Bathroom is also clean and hygienic. Location is about 15mins walk to Police Bazar. There is no resturant nearby. I don't have any idea about room service because we only ordered tea.

The mam at the reception and all of staff's were very helpful to us. Room were clean and hygienic. Totally recommended!

Honestly, the only thing going for these guys would be that the people at the reception are very sweet. Otherwise i would not recommend anyone especially families and children to go to this place. we were there for the bryan adams concert and this was the only booking available for that night. The room was not more than 8 by 10 feet at max and the bed was wall to wall touching leaving about 1 foot of space to walk to the bathroom. Apart from that the balcony opens out into a gutter. We have never ever lived in such cramped confines before and paying 5000 for a night there was nothing short of robbery there. But i guess, everyone in shillong took advantage of the fact that bryan adams was performing there.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Police Bazar is about 10 mins of walk from this hotel. Rooms aren't that spacious but good for two people and bathroom is super clean and spacious. They have centralised system of hot water even in wash basin. Recommend !!

The only good thing about this hotel was it's location very close to Police Bazar other wise this hotel s pathetic I hope there were negative star to give,we stayed here from 25th to 27th dec 24 and it was horrible,it was christmas time so charges were too high,we had to remind the reception 10 times that hot water s not coming in the bathroom,the room was very small it had a double bed and then hardly any space left,there was an electric kettle that's it no coffee tea or milk shatches,most of the time the reception was empty the phone in the room was not working,we had to go to the reception everytime we needed nythin,the room had spider webs and dust on the windows,the bucket and mugs in the washroom had yellow water stains and the washroom was dirty,the service was super slow we ordered Maggie and after 45 mints they informed that they can't provide it,they don't have a resturant another negative point,In the morning even getting a cup of tea was such a hassle,they provided tea which was cold and bitter,we NVR ordered nythin from them after that ordered food from swiggy,All in all it was a horrible experience I will not recommend it to any one, A waste of money

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room wa spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable, and I had a restful night sleep. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor and the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottles water and a section of teas. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained, with good supply of toiletries. Overall, I was very impressed with the room and would definitely recommend it to other guests.
