Average hotel and very small rooms. Hotel needs maintanence. Bedsheets and towels are not clean. There is pure veg restaurant but food is average. Its on the second floor and no lift available. They will assist you with luggage though. Also no view from any of the rooms since it is right in the centre of market area. Only major plus is the very close proximity to police Bazar.

Extremely Disappointing Stay at Cloud Social, Police Bazar, Shillong I recently stayed at Cloud Social in Police Bazar, Shillong, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Right from arrival, things started off poorly -- the check-in process was chaotic, and the staff appeared disinterested and unhelpful. The room was nothing like what was described online. It was poorly maintained, overcrowded with furniture, and full of mosquitoes & cockroaches that greeted us the moment we entered. The linens did not feel clean or fresh, and the bathroom had a strong, unpleasant odor. To make things worse, the entire room smelled damp, the Wi-Fi barely worked, and there was no hot water -- even after waiting. Eventually, the water supply stopped altogether. Breakfast was also a major letdown. The only available options were bread toast and tea -- far below the standard expected from a hotel in this price range. Considering the condition of the facilities and the overall service, the room charges were far too high. I was traveling with my family, so I had no choice but to stay -- but if I had been alone, I would not have paid for such poor service. Overall, Cloud Social did not live up to even the most basic expectations. I left feeling extremely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are certainly better and more reliable options available in Shillong.

This is worst hotel experience anyone can have. Even the executive room was worst There were ants in the room. The bathroom had foul smell through. Very slow and rude service by the staff. When asked for anything, they showed a face as if the customer was asking for their kidneys. I believe most people have had bad experience.The receptionist especially behaved badly . Mostly, they charged tax on each service, literally every single one. A bottle of 10 ruppees just sold outside, they sold for 50 ruppees and taxed..there was no grievance addressed. The geyser was not working, ants, window curtains were dirty, TV was not working, the room had no heater, blanket was thin as paper. I wonder how this hotel is even working. Do not recommend it at all. Zero star. Cloud social is unsocial for sure.

I had a terrible experience staying at this hotel. In three days I had to call the MMT customer care as many times to get a proper blanket. The blanket they provide is a better version of bed sheet which is not adequate in Shillong's cold. Then they pressurise you to rent a room heater for 300 rupees. I appreciate their upselling strategy but customer care is pathetic. every simple request replied with negative words. That was the High moment when they declare that the pastry that I got for my kid needs to be thrown out or else they threaten to force check out my family. We strongly protested this behaviour from Ankit. This man also verbally abused my family. If you are going for a holiday, you should avoid this place. This is not only my view but every boarder had the same experience. The breakfast option is a pure scam. Smelly rooms are full of dirt with filthy towels if you can stand with them. Room service was good though thanks to local boys.

Cloud Social Hotel in Shillong is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service from the , Annyesha. Her warm welcome, professionalism, and helpful recommendations made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for a great stay in Shillong!

Nyc ambience Quality only vegitarian food in Shillong. Nyc behaviour of staff. Ankit is main attraction for his behaviour, guide about city and all helping nature. God bless him for all success in his way.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were a few good things, overall, the experience wasn't great. The only real highlight was the Subz restaurant. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant, and the food was really good. The restuarant staff were polite, friendly, and made us feel welcome, which was nice. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn't live up to expectations. There were no slippers in the room, and the floor was really cold. When we asked the receptionist about it, she bluntly told us to buy some from the local market if we wanted them. It came across as rude and unhelpful, especially since slippers are such a basic thing hotels should provide. Another big issue was the lack of hot water in the mornings. Despite complaining multiple times, the hotel couldn't fix the problem and ended up giving us a bucket of hot water instead. It was frustrating and not what you'd expect when staying at a hotel. While the food and service at Subz were great, the hotel really needs to improve in other areas. Basic amenities and better customer service would make a big difference.

The hotel is located right on police bazaar junction and that makes it very convenient. The rooms are spacious and have all the essential amenities.
