Sojourn Guest House & Savoury Sojourn Restaurant

I recently visited Savoury Sojourn restaurant, which offers a diverse menu featuring Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes. We opted for Chinese, and I must say, it was a great choice. The hot and sour soup was a perfect start, warming us up on a particularly cold day. The Singaporean noodles were absolutely delicious--full of flavor and perfectly cooked. However, the Hong Kong noodles had a bit too much tomato for my liking, though I understand that's just a matter of personal preference. Overall, a satisfying meal in a cozy atmosphere!

I had an amazing experience at Sojourn Restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, creating a pleasant dining environment. Parking was ample, making arrival stress-free. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring excellent service. Most importantly, the food was absolutely stunning--bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared. A must-visit for a delightful meal!

Great location The hosts were considerate polite and accomodating . They made sure we were comfortable right from the get go . Now to the food . It requires its own space as it was too good . The taste presentation ambience of the dining area and the variety of dishes served all with a big smile on their faces ...truly a commendable experience . Will be back for more !

I visited thrice at Savoury Sojourn, and it was an absolute treat! the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern decor and cozy seating. The service by staff is too Good . The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in Shillong. It's a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The rooms in the Sojourn Guest house are fantastic at a very affordable price . The house keeping service and surroundings is worth visiting .

Tucked away in a corner of the city Shillong nestles a beautiful guest house furnished neatly with basic amenities. Apart from this is a restaurant that offers extremely delicious food. The servers and chefs are well trained and courteous. The overall aethetics of the property, the warmth of hospitality and the value for money will draw you to this place over and over.

I had an amazing dining experience at Sojourn Shillong and I'm thrilled to give it a 5-star review. The food was absolutely exceptional, with each dish beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was perfectly prepared using the freshest ingredients. A special shoutout to Willis, whose attentive and friendly service truly made the meal memorable. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm hospitality added a personal touch to the entire experience. Sojourn Shillong is a must-visit, and I can't wait to return!

My first time here. Decor, setting was good. Service was good. Food was terrible. I ordered the cheese masala dosa, aloo paratha and the double egg omlette (chicken). The sambar tasted like watered down tamarind water, the consistency and flavours of the dosa was all off, the aloo paratha was half an inch thick with barely any aloo filling. Tasted like the dough was undercooked. Only good thing was the dahi and the tomato chutney. Needs a lot of improvement.

Excellent hospitality by the owner & the staff.. with good food & beautiful view. The head chef also was very helpful & prepared the food according to our choice..
