Tyndai Resort

I recently visited this resort with my family, and I must say the location is remarkably peaceful, situated along the Shillong bypass road and conveniently close to Shillong Airport. The resort features a spacious playground, perfect for family activities and picnics, as well as a well-maintained children's playground equipped with swings and slides. The swimming pool, complemented by clean changing rooms, is not overly large but sufficient for family bookings, with the added convenience of a baby pool. Ample parking space is provided, and the rooms we booked included a small living room, a bedroom, and an attached bathroom. Overall, it's a decent and family-friendly place to stay. In terms of service, since it was a one day visit, I have no say as we did not need for any.

Loved the resort and the behavior of the owner was very welcoming. If I ever visit Meghalaya again I would love to visit Tyndai Resort again. Very beautiful resort with great view.

The resort was really great! The place has a swimming pool, outdoor area for partying , kid area, good food, comfy cottages, easy accessible, great location. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others! 37 words

I wouldn't recommend this resort because there are no cons, there are lots of decent resorts but not this one. Room service is bad. They don't even provide you with drinking water. The employees asked us to drink from tap water which is inappropriate for guests. There are 4 rooms and we booked 3 rooms, stayed the night and we thought the pool was complimentary but there were additional charges for the pool even though you've booked the rooms. This is not a good resort to stay. The owner/manager is not friendly to guests. Geyser doesn't work at all. Lots of ants in the room which is uncomfortable. Improper infrastructure.

Good place but only thing is trying getting the good rooms, pool need to be booked if you want to enjoy

This place is so beautiful and the pool is also very nice, suitable for both those who know how to swim and for those who don't know how to as there is a particular area in the pool where children as well as people who don't know how to swim can sit and enjoy the water. The people who take care of this place are also very polite. Do give this place a visit if you're ever interested and have free time. (:
