I would highly recommend staying at this homestay. It's a very beautiful and well maintained property. Rooms are very clean, breakfast was delicious. The host is very warm and welcoming. The location is ideal since it's slightly away from hustle and bustle of main shillong city.

We had a very homely and comfortable stay. The host lady was extremely nice. She was very helpful from the beginning and helped us plan our itinerary as well. It was Christmas time and she gave us home baked cake along with breakfast. The beautiful house and the warmth of the host provided a warm experience.

Really really great experience... Host is very lovely lady...sweet and calm. Rooms were clean and well maintained.morning breakfast was tasty and also some sweet dish was there. Homestay is really beautiful...so many flowers and plants... beautiful garden. One of the best experiences in Shillong.

Clean , well furnished rooms. Beautiful balcony, best vibes. We booked for 2 days. Plus point Mrs. Lari, the owner is absolute sweetheart . We loved our stay. Location: all major attractions of shillong are nearby as the homestay is 5-6kms from police bazaar and you don't have to get stuck in traffic of the central city. Try not booking hotel near market..huge traffic jam in shillong these days. Felt homely and breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Very cozy and comfortable stay .The host Ms.Laritina is very nice and welcoming person .Property is well maintained and cleaned .Staff is also nice .Overall our stay was awesome and Ifully recommends others to stay .

This homestay will make you feel like home. The host is the most warm and welcoming host i have experienced. The rooms are neat, clean and organised. The balcony is beautiful. It is away from the hustle and the horns of the city yet quite reachable.It will be better if you have your own vehicle if you are staying at this place. Experience in One Word Awesome!! The Host herself was Welcoming and and made sure that we didn't face any Issue. Although She was Alone, she Managed everything well. Kudos to the Lady ... Many Thanks for Fulfilling an Small Request to provide a Laundry wash for a Single Jeans. Rooms itself was Neat and Clean and Offered Majestic Views. Dorsen Homestay is located a bit away from the main city. Prefer to have your own transport if you plan to stay here as getting a taxi is difficult to commute through the city. The rooms were elegant with a view of the nearby forest. This location is very close to nature. They even have a good kitchen and we can get food there with ease. Just let them know a bit in advance to prepare dinner for you. The owner is super friendly and the staff was also very good. Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place that is far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you are booking a room here please do pay some money in advance to confirm your booking as the rooms are in high demand.
