SHANGOI RESORT

Reason for the five star experience. 1. The hospitality. Both the owner and the staff of the resort are welcoming. 2. Good food. Didn't expect this in Meghalaya. 3. Ambience. The pool could have been cleaner but that's ok. Travellers not to expect cold weather in Summer as it's mostly sunny so don't bring any warm clothes. The main market is very far away but you will get cigarettes And Cold drinks in their in-house store.

Excellent service and in a very quiet and scenic part of Meghalaya. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention for Kiki who went out of her way to look after us. We had some car trouble and the owner went out of his way to help us get it up. Would like to go there again.

Nice little resort with swimming pool in Rani-Mairang road. The food prices are affordable and food is very tasty. Rooms have a very good view of mountains and valley. So if you are looking for a weekend getaway in the lesser known off beat part of Meghalaya then this resort is the only one this route.

The location is truly beautiful with stunning natural scenery, but the service wasn't up to the mark. They serve only Chinese cuisine, and the quality of the food was quite disappointing.

Can't handle more customers due to shortage of staff. Single person taking orders, supply and table clearance. Property is good with rooms and ambience.

Beautiful place and serene viewpoint... But restaurant service is not good... Didn't even ask for water..

Exotic location in the lap of the mountains literally!!! A balcony hanging off the cliff.A Cozy infinity pool offering beautiful views specially the sunrise.Just too good in terms of location and views !!!

Great place to eat and stay if going to Mairang. Amazing view.food is very tasty and price is economical.for staying prior booking is recommended
