Bellevue Homestay Shillong

Location , view, service everything is good. But the furnitures of room was not very well maintained. We took the executive room and was charged 4000.00 per night, without breakfast. After every 10minute there was a foul smell in room. We were provided room freshners later. The blanket was smelling a little off and was no cover put on it. Wooden furnitures were not very clean, sticky and dusty. The 2 chairs beside the coffee table was old and was shaking while sitting. There was powercut in evening, which is not their fault. But funny thing is no one came to offer any candle or light or anything. Finally i took my mobile torch and went looking for staffs for help. It was pitch black in the room and outside. My mother stuck in washroom. It would have been nice if any power backup was there, or atleast emergency lights were given in room. Staffs were helpful though. Its a great property, but needs a little maintenance and replacement of old furnitures.

A beautiful boutique homestay,very aesthetically decorated, clean n neat rooms typical of old shillong homes with wooden floors. The rooms have all the necessary amenities. Managed very well by the host, simple home-cooked is available, which is tasty .All in all, I would love to go back for a longer stay .

Nice place with spacious and clean rooms and courteous staff. I booked a standard room with breakfast (cost me 2200). The room was nice, spacious and clean. It had all basic amenities that a room needs (electric kettle, coffee /tea pouches, toiletries, tv, bath towels etc) Car parking space is decent. Staff was very courteous and tended to our requests promptly. The breakfast was great as well. Shout out to Freddie for being a great host Down sides (which I honestly don't mind) are - it does not offer much in terms of view. - If you are driving a four wheeler to this place by yourself and are not used to uphill driving, you will find it a little tricky since the appproach road is quite steep

I booked this place in a hurry , at a last moment without going through the reviews much as I had not much time in my hand, I had seen only 1/2 pics and photographs and the tariff. But once I have reached there , I understood it was one of my my best chosen stays as far as its location, service and budget are concerned. This place is nearer to police bazar but at the same time very peaceful, the rooms are neat and clean, so quiet and comfortable. The entrance gate and the drive way and the small lawn ... all must stolen your heart .. its gives a feel of cozy and heritage bungalow.. I will highly recommend the place

Stayed for 2 nights in a family room. It's huge! Excellent heritage bungalow, old world charm, all amenities mentioned were provided. Very well maintained property. Parking is a little tricky. Don Bosco square is at a walking distance appx1.5 km, where all good restaurants and food chains are located. Special mention of caretaker Rinson ( spelling might be wrong), who obliged our demands of hot cups of tea and veg dinner, that too on a Sunday night in Shillong.

The food was yummy. We paid 2500 per night per room. We were happy with the rooms and the cleanliness too. A serene background

Fantastic place to stay with friends and family. Close to all major landmarks such as Ward Lake, nearby churches, the property literally felt like a fairy tale place in Christmas.

This homestay was worth every penny! Every little corners of the homestay is so alluring. Starting from the pretty garden to the view of shillong town. Our host was very helpful & polite . Dinner and complimentary breakfast was on time. The dinner room is also exquisite. Rooms and toilets are very clean , they provide all the essential amenities needed such as electric kettle, towels etc. They also have a cute dog and cat on the property. Would recommend this homestay blindly.
