Nature's Retreat Homestay

For tourists like us who are not familiar with homestays in India, Nature's Retreat was a revelation. The right place to set your eyes on after a tiring, sleepless journey. Set in a picturesque location, it has all one can ask for in a homestay...polite, courteous and affable hosts (Robert and Lilika go out of their way to make you at home), large, spacious, comfortable rooms with all essential facilities and much more. It has a very well equipped kitchenette for those aspiring to cook ! Great views from our rooms too! Sumptuous elaborate breakfast every morning! What more could one ask for? The beautiful location, the nice, clean and comfy rooms and the warmth of the hosts gives you a feeling of a 'home away from home'....just as an ideal homestay should be! Nature's Retreat was truly a "treat" I'd love to re-treat myself with! My rating : Excellent! *****(5 stars)

I stayed at Nature's Retreat Homestay for 5 nights with 3 of my colleagues. The place is exactly what you see in the pictures. It has been built very thoughtfully. The view from the very aesthetic kitchen and living room is to melt for. Hosts, Robert and Lilica are very warm and make you feel at home. Caretaker Arun also made us feel comfortable. The food was good too. Mr. Robert goes an extra mile to fulfill any request a guest has. For us, it was the best place in Imphal which made our trip memorable. It's soooo good that you would not feel like coming back home!!!! Actually missing being there!!

We had a lovely time with our family of 12 here. Robert and Lilika were very accommodating and thoughtful of all our needs. With a view that faces the open paddy, it is a great escape for those seeking a break from the city life and the narrow alleys of Imphal Town. Both Tourist and Local Friendly!!

If you are in Imphal and looking for a homestay, this place should be on top of your list. This is a relatively new place with big spacious rooms, well equipped with all modern amenities. Every item that you may need during your stay is already stocked in place. There is a refrigerator and fully equipped kitchenette where you can have your meals prepared, if you are not in mood to cook then help is available as well. Also, you can order food online and collect delivery at the maine gate. Each room has an attached bathroom with running hot & cold water. It's conveniently located, very close to many local attractions, govt offices and hospitals. Hosts are very friendly and warm, they would not let you feel away from home while maintaining your privacy. Highly recommend this place.

Peaceful and calm place. The owners are friendly and always ready to help. All the facilities are available. Awesome
