Hotel Anand Continental

A hotel in thangal bazar and pretty good for the wallet. Got 24x7 hot water, TV, in-room food ordering, AC, clean toilets and a wardrobe. The attendants also come every morning to clean the room, and the staff are very friendly. There is also an option to book rented cabs from hotel authority tie ups at decent cost. It is near to the airport also with good road links. Liked it for my stay.

The Hotel is close to Main Bus Stand. The Hotel Staff are extremely nice, polite and friendly. Our room was beautiful, great design, comfortable and quiet with a big LCD. The location is great. The waiter and housekeeping staff was extremely helpful, nice, polite and following up on our request. Honestly amazing. The spa is beautiful, calm and nice. The restaurant and bar great food and services.

An average hotel, foods are okay. Many infrastructure of the hotel are old, eg. most AC in this hotel makes lot of noise. Lift is also old but no issues works like a charm. The hotel is still comfy and good if we talk about security point of view.

This hotel is situated in one of the bye roads of the busy Thangal Bazar. One has to be careful for not missing the entrance. Rooms are small but have basic things. Mainly the hotel serves the regular customers who come to Imphal for business or office work. Being in the downtown it offers convenience to them. It has an in house restaurant which offers multi-cousine food. It does not have 24 hrs hot water facility. After the afternoon one has to ask for it to be given in a bucket. |It is a budget hotel.

I visited Manipur in last week of Feb-2016 and stayed in Anand Continental. This hotel is very good, neat & clean, located in the main market,very close to Ima market. Hotel staff are also good.You can get good food here but costly,however if want nice breakfast,dinner at very reasonable rate, you can go to Marwari sweet shop, just close (within 50 m) to it at reasonable rate and clean. A good hotel for traveller's as it is located in the main city. Staff are all right and the food is reasonable as well. However, one must be wary of the fact that other problems in the city could affect the hotel or any other establishment as well. A decent place to stay and there are other options for food around as well.

I had to travel Imphal in a short notice and my team could not find accommodation available at the Classic hotel or its group properties hence I had to check in here as rooms were available here .||||Firstly there was no water when I checked in . On enquiry I learnt that the pump was not working and they did not have a back up pump even though they have reasonable number of rooms in the hotel . Water was available next day but the room service / housekeeping guys were really helpful as they made some alternative arrangements . Power was tripping in the evening several times and power cuts were there but generator service was not available .||||More than half the food and beverage items on the menu card was not available and the front office staff / manager was not even courteous when informed about the issues faced while staying there .The only silver lining is the room service staff who tried their best to provide good service with limited capabilities .
