Sathe farm

I have attended Balmohan School batch yr 1977reunion recently. Total colleagues were17. The owner Satish Sathe being ex-Balmohan as well as a close friend of one of the colleagues, he specially came down from Mumbai to meet us and briefed about his involvement in developing one acre Farm in to resort. This resort has few well-maintained clean & hygiene A/c rooms with attached toilets, pleasant & clean surroundings of mostly mango trees, common dining room accommodating maximum 35 visitors at a Strech and last but not the least small but safe swimming pool specially for Families having small kids. All necessary precautions have been taken from safety as well as maintaining water cleanliness point of views. Form the privacy point of view the resort is allocated to one large family or the one group either for Morning to Evening or Overnight Stay. About meals very delicious, homely Veg/Non-Veg are served. Staff is very supportive and courteous. Ample parking. Being the birdwatcher, I could spot Small Minivets, Tiaga Flycatchers, Red Breasted Flycatchers, Red Wattled lapwings, Pond Herons and icing on the cake was White Throated Kingfisher even dipped into the small stream flowing at the back of Farm for fish, in the farm surroundings itself. The location was unreal, so picturesque... Utterly beautiful. Monsoon would be the best time to visit, sit back, relax and go hiking. Food was great and the staff is very amiable. I had the best stay here with my friends. Would lovee the place even more if it would have props for playing and have facilities for adventure sports. But in all I had a really great time!!!

One of the best place we have visited till now. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Our kids enjoyed a lot in pool...pool side area is really interesting....landscape done is too good....

Serenity so close by, you would wish to hold it again and again. A wonderful little homely place to relax over the weekend. Not very distant from the city and having good clean rooms with a very hygienic kitchen and dining area, you can safely vist with your family here. The place is best for large families or groups and can be thoroughly enjoyed by all ages. With a large pool and spacious open area, with lots of trees and vegetation within the compound itself, the day can be well spent just lazing. You can also have a little walk just outside the property and explore nearby small hills and the dam which is right behind it. You will get freshly cooked local food here, with the homely touch. You can get both veg and non veg served here. Best time to visit would be the start of monsoon when the area is lush and blossoming with nature.

Best place for monsoon picnic. Here you feel at home. Food offered here is delicious. Swimming pool is also good. There is rain dance baby pool and a swimming pool with 4m depth. The are is clean and well maintained. There are 2 cottage with around 20 person capacity. Nearby there is a small waterfall which is open only during rainy season. This place is close to Mumbai so it's good to plan for a weakened trip

Excellent place to visit during rainy season. During summer even though inside room, expect heated afternoons. AC room option is available but limited. Good and safe for kids as well. Play area with lot of planted trees. Place is developing more and more. Good food and moderate rates. For drinking you get packaged drinking water, so no need to worry about stomach issues. Overall pleasant experience.
