Ah, the MTDC Guest House. A place so full of character, you'll wonder if you accidentally stepped into a post-apocalyptic movie set. Let me walk you through my magical misadventure. Let's start on a high note - location! It's just 700-800 meters from Wardha railway station. So close, you can practically crawl there... which you might consider doing if you saw the state of the entrance. Picture this: a lineup of auto-rickshaws that looks like they're auditioning for Fast & Furious: Wardha Drift, a couple of abandoned thelas that have clearly seen better decades, a mysterious stream of unidentified liquid (spoiler: it's not holy water), and folks using the corners as urinals like it's some open-air restroom convention. Welcome to the gateway of Maharashtra Tourism! Once you wade through the urban obstacle course, you're greeted by an old building that's had its face painted - literally. It looks okay from the outside, kind of like a cake with nice frosting but questionable filling. Inside, there's a reception desk manned by staff who were... let's say, functionally polite. You can book online (I used MakeMyTrip), or risk it and show up - assuming the gods of availability are on your side. Now for the room. Ah yes, Room 101: The Chamber of Disappointments. I paid 800 for a night, mostly because I had no choice--train cancelled, stranded at night, and not in the mood to turn into a platform sleeper. They took me to the first floor, and on the way, I was serenaded by the sight of peeling paint, crumbling plaster, and a lawn that looked like a jungle adventure zone. Tarzan might have been squatting there for all I know. Inside the room, things didn't improve. The bedsheet had enough hair to knit a small sweater. The toilet? Smelled like it was designed to repel all life forms. The TV was an ancient CRT dinosaur, turned away from me, probably out of shame. No towel, no water, and definitely no hint of housecleaning. I politely asked for clean sheets - they responded with the enthusiasm of a sloth in a hammock. Nothing changed. Fortunately, I travel like a suspicious squirrel - always prepared. I had my own towel and sheet, which I deployed over the questionable bed like a hazmat tarp. I ate dinner nearby and returned to my impromptu jungle bunker. Now, before you lose all hope - the AC did work. It hummed its chilly tune like a lone hero in this tragicomedy. And for that, dear reader, I award two stars. One for the AC, and one for the fact that I made it out alive with my sense of humor intact. Pro tip: If you're carrying heavy luggage, take an auto from the station (30 or so). If you're traveling light and brave, just walk. The bus stand is a hop, skip, and a grimace away - just 150 meters. In summary: If you're desperate, broke, and armed with your own survival kit, this place will do. Just don't expect luxury - or hygiene.

Rooms: The resort boasts very spacious and clean rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. Building: While the building is old, its charm adds to the overall experience. Location: Set in a pleasing and quiet location, perfect for relaxation. Staff: The staff is very friendly and supportive, although service can be a bit slow. Overall, MTDC Wardha Resort offers a pleasing experience for travelers seeking tranquility.

Con: MTDC Wardha is one of the neglected properties. The area is surrounded by garbage. Last time when I visited with my children we had a very bad experience. Poisonous snake krait entered in one of the rooms. Attendant immediately rushed into the room and caught the snake. Pro : 3 Deluxe ac rooms are good and maintained. Staff is cooperative. Room have AC, geyser TV with internet and OTT. Nowadays renovation work is going on and we hope a good resort during our next visit.

Its our 1st visit to Wardha. We booked a deluxe room on the spot. Room was spacious and clean. MTDC is Located in the heart of Wardha but has a peaceful and quiet environment. Staff are very co-operative.We had a tough day in Wardha but the staff here made us feel comfortable. MTDC Wardha

This place is near the railway station and bus stand. The rooms need renovation, and the mirror in the bathroom is broken. They don't serve food in the hotel. One good thing is that it is budget-friendly. I would not recommend any girls or ladies to stay in this place. If you enjoyed my review, please like it!

Bus stand and station are in walking distance from property but property looks like bhoot bunglow. Deluxe Room is Average but standard room was third class, room's AC not working, paint's condition was poor very disappointed. According to property's conditions and service it's very costly.

Dont take another room instead of delux room.. other than super delux room all rooms are like bhais ka tabela... Very very bad experience with mtdc resort... This rooms are not worthy for even 300 rs ... Walls and curtains are more dirty than door mat... Bad odure in the entire room, bathrooms was too dirty ...

One of the Wrost Hotel In Wardha please don't Visit This Hotel , Such Bad Condition washroom & bed Room No Service, No Hot Water for shower in Venter season how We Take A Shower In Cold Water in Venter season They Provided home Heater for Making hot Water in Normal Buket like A Home In the room Lot of Maskitos, in A Washroom wall Previous Guest Spited , & That Also They didn't Cleaned. This is not Acceptable for such a Bad Condition of hotel Room Need to Improve Your sevice & Cleaning Level for Future Business.
