Shivam Residency, Ellora

I recently stayed at Shivam Residency during my visit to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, and I must say it was a pleasant experience. The location is a major plus - it's just a short walk from the temple, which made it extremely convenient, especially for early morning darshan. The host was courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests. Whether it was arranging transport or guiding us about local spots, they were prompt and polite throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities in place. Clean linens, hygienic bathrooms, and a peaceful environment added to the comfort. The property itself is neat and well-managed, which made the overall experience feel homely and safe for families. Another thing I appreciated was the quiet surroundings, which is perfect if you're looking to relax after a long day of temple visits or sightseeing around Ellora. If you're planning a spiritual trip to Grishneshwar, I'd definitely recommend staying at Shivam Residency for its proximity, cleanliness, and warm hospitality.

Had a comfortable and pleasant stay at Shivam Residency. The rooms were clean, big-enough, well-kept, and had everything I needed for a short visit. The owner Dipesh Patil was very polite and quick to assist with any requests, which made the experience even better. The location is a big plus--easy access to nearby attractions and transport. Would definitely recommend it for a hassle-free stay and great value for money. Behind the hotel, there's a small house where a kind aunty and uncle live with their kids--they cook delicious homemade food that's definitely worth trying! The quantity is generous, and while it's a little on the expensive side, the taste and quality make it totally worth it.

comfortable, clean and genuine Indian residence. Shivam is an affordable hotel, with a relaxed Indian small town atmosphere (which is lost today in many touristic hotels, and in the cities). Family run, you can talk and ask assistance to the owners when you want, and for any reason*. It's not a luxury hotel, it is a favourite of few independent travellers of the amazing Ellora temples, as well as of the pilgrims to come to worship at the Shri Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga temple, or the small Ganesh temple near the hotel. I enjoyed this genuine atmosphere, including| a monkeys family sharing my balcony :-)|||* Example I had forgotten my new Mcair power supply, and I was already in Mumbai, but they simply managed to send it there with a bus that was driven by a cousin or a neighbour which I met few days later!

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Very near to temple and ellora caves. Its a kind of home stay, Mr. Dipesh the owner is very Cooperative. Highly recommend shivam residency.

Awesome stay experience, The rooms were comfortable, clean & spacious. The owner is nice with behaviour & service too. The location was great, convenient & close to temple. The service was excellent, attentive, and efficient. Also having pick & drop facility with there known driver.

Main point to reach here from Shirdi by car: on expressway from Shirdi, take route towards Nagpur, Gmaps will to take you in circles due to close roads, but after toll gate, take Nagpur road and maps will straighten automatically. Now about hotel Stayed for 2 nights. 1500/- per night Location is good near to ellora and temple , surrounding is not so good, but nothing owner can do in this as it's village ~900m walking from eollar and ~400m from temple Rooms are clean and good. Beds are clean and windows have mesh which I feel is very important in hotels to avoid smelly rooms. Owner is polite and straight. People may take it as arrogant but he's good and respectful to all. You can ask for any nearby place and he'll help you with that. Only veg options available nearby(walking distance), due to close proximity of temple. Do see it in Satellite view before choosing it. Overall I had a decent time here, no complaints

The location of the Shivam residency is very near - walkable distance to Grishneshwar temple. Very advantageous. The owner is very co-operative. Has a warmth of a residence and facilities and cleanliness of the hotel. VFM. Accepted to have a lift facility at the earliest.

Amazing hotel. Value for money. We stayed with family. Very near ( walking distance ) to Ghrishmeshwar jyotirling temple and Elora caves. Large, clean spacious rooms. Most importantly the owner family who lives on ground floor is really kind and helping. Highly recommended.
