Kisan Eco Farmhouse

Located in Vasind, about 45 km from Mumbai and just 2-3 km off the Mumbai-Nashik Highway, this farmhouse is best accessed by your own car, as getting an Uber can be challenging. However, the caretakers are helpful and can arrange local transport. On our return trip, though we had come by Uber, the caretaker arranged an Ertiga through a local contact, which was very convenient. The first thing you notice about the farmhouse is the lush greenery -- with mango, jackfruit, chikoo, and lemon trees, as well as a variety of flowering plants. We were welcomed with a chilled kokum drink. We visited in May, but I'd recommend planning a trip during the monsoon or in December/January for more pleasant weather. We booked the villa, which includes three air-conditioned bedrooms and a spacious hall. However, the hall does not have air conditioning, which was a bit uncomfortable given the heat and humidity. That said, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the bathrooms were stocked with essential toiletries. The common pool could have been bigger. Caretaker Shubham was always available and attentive to our needs. A major highlight was the food -- we separately ordered seafood, which was delicious, and their regular meal plan was equally tasty. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Had a wonderful stay at Kisan Eco Farmhouse! The lush green surroundings are a treat for the eyes. The delicious food and warm hospitality from Mrs. Sarita and Mr. Sanjay made it a perfect getaway. Kisane Ecofarm was the perfect spot for a fun and peaceful family outing! Nestled in nature, it provided an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the fresh air and lush green surroundings, which made everyone feel relaxed and rejuvenated. The farm itself is beautifully maintained, and there's so much to see and do. We spent time walking around, exploring the gardens, and learning about the different plants and animals that are cared for on the farm. The kids had a blast interacting with the friendly farm animals, especially the dig cat, geese turtle and rabbits One of the highlights was the farm-to-table experience. We got to enjoy fresh, organic food that was grown right on the property. The meals were delicious, wholesome, and a true treat for the whole family. Overall, Kisane Ecofarm is a great place for families looking for a day out in nature. The calm atmosphere, educational activities, and delicious food made it a memorable outing for all of us. We can't wait to go back again soon!

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully maintained homestay. They offer Family Rooms, a Couple's Room, and a luxurious villa for groups. We stayed in the Couple's Cottage with our kid, and it was a fantastic experience. Our child especially loved the kids' play area, which was conveniently located right next to our room, featuring a trampoline that kept them entertained. The hosts also organized a fun musical chair game for kids and young guests, adding to the lively atmosphere. One of the most exciting experiences was the night walk, where they took us to explore the surroundings in the hope of spotting rabbits, wild boars, foxes, or birds--it was truly an adventure! The highlight of our stay was the food--everything, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian, was absolutely delicious. The Chicken Gravy is a must-try, prepared in a traditional village-style with mild spices, making it both flavorful and comforting. They also offer some paid activities like boating, though we didn't try it this time. Overall, it was a memorable and refreshing getaway, and we would love to visit again!

The other cottages looked just as charming, and for bigger groups, the villa is a must - it's spacious, beautifully decorated, and perfect for spending quality time with friends or family. The property is absolutely gorgeous, especially at night when the whole place lights up and gives off a peaceful, magical vibe. There's even a river nearby where you can sit and enjoy a stunning sunset - it's so calm and relaxing, you'll forget the outside world even exists. This place is also pet-friendly, which was a big bonus for us! The farm is home to adorable rabbits, ducks, a cat, a friendly dog, and even a turtle - all of them are well taken care of and add such a wholesome touch to the entire experience. Activity-wise, there's never a dull moment - we tried horse riding, kayaking, and even went on a night jungle walk which was thrilling and fun. And the food - absolutely divine! Whether you prefer veg or non-veg, every dish was packed with flavor. You can also order cocktails, mocktails, and barbecue to enjoy a perfect evening by the fire. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help - they genuinely care about making your stay special. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who shared the amazing story behind how Kisan Agro Farm was created - hearing the passion and effort that went into building this place made us appreciate it even more. Overall, Kisan Agro Farm isn't just a weekend getaway - it's an experience. Highly recommended if you're looking for peace, nature, fun activities, and delicious food - all in one place. Trust me, once you visit, you'll already start planning your next trip back!

It was a pleasant stay at the farm, meeting the family and having home cooked meals. The short walk to the lake was very refreshing. Mocha the friendly doggie ensured we did not get lost. Pleasant memories of our stay Keep up the good work

We had booked this place for our two dogs Mickey and Magic and both had a great time. This a nice property to visit majorly during rains and winters but at this time also place was very good. Care taker were very good and humble. Our dogs played a lot with both their kids. It just felt that we could reach a bit earlier so they could have got more time to play and enjoy and run around. Must plan if you are pet parents or wish to have a quick gateway near Mumbai or Thane.
