Funtastico Beach Resort

Great experience staying in this hotel. Excellent location. We was lucky to be upgraded to a superior room with window and balcony. The hotel provided complementary breakfahappy and was also good. The staff service are excellent and they are very attentive we are happy and much appreciated being served by them. Thank you so much will be back.

By looking at coconut trees photo, I booked the resort, however when I reached there, didn't feel so great. Approach road is pathetic, resort owner had to put temporary bricks structure on the beach ,otherwise you can't reach with your car. Rooms , service and food quality was average. Overall giving 3 Star. Hospitality can be improved.

The resort is right on one of the corners of tarkarli beach. The staffs are very cooperative and the rooms are very neat and clean with hygienic bathrooms.||The resort provides tasty local malvan food. You can enjoy your evening snacks and dinner right in the beach.||You can enjoy nice dip in the sea during morning and evening. Nice cleaning facilities are available on the ground floor where you can get yourself cleaned after getting playing in sea water and sandy beach.

Cozy Beachside Stay with Great Service but Overpriced Rooms This is a charming little 8-room property that sits right on the beach, making it a great option for travelers who want quick and easy access to the shoreline. The location is a bit tricky to find, but once you're there, the aesthetically pleasing surroundings and peaceful vibe make up for it. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering a comfortable stay. While the overall setup is simple, it's well-maintained and has a cozy, laid-back feel that fits perfectly with the beachside atmosphere. One of the highlights of this place is the prompt and courteous service. The staff is attentive and always ready to help, which adds a lot of value to the experience. There's a small in-house restaurant that serves a limited but tasty menu. Everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful, perfect for a relaxed meal without having to leave the property. The biggest draw, of course, is the direct beach access--a definite plus for those who love morning or evening walks by the sea. That said, the room rates are quite steep for what's offered. While the service and location are great, the pricing feels a bit out of sync with the simplicity of the property. In summary, it's a lovely beachside stay with great service and an unbeatable location, but be prepared to pay a premium for the experience.

Don't take the ground floor rooms, they are too noisy if you have someone upstairs. The power supply is intermittent. Food is only North Indian and Chinese , not Maharashtrian or Malvani. We ate our dinner at the neighbouring hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff is not welcoming. Location is very beautiful.

Funtastico Resort truly lives up to its name! The view from the resort is absolutely beautiful, with the beach just a short walk away, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. You can even spot Sindhudurg Fort from the beach -- a treat for history lovers and photographers alike. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The service was impressive -- the staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay. The food was average, but the overall experience made up for it. We celebrated my niece's special day here, and the beachside decoration (arranged by a third-party vendor) was superb -- truly memorable and picture-perfect! The only downside was a light issue we faced that day, which was a bit inconvenient. Hopefully, it was just a temporary problem. Overall, a great place to unwind with family and celebrate special moments by the sea, with bonus views of Sindhudurg Fort!

Brilliant location. Nice, functional rooms. Food is good but the breakfast was very limited. But, any ifs and buts get overridden by the location with the beautiful beach just 5 steps away.

Located on the beach. One of the cleanest and live beach(sea animals). Rooms are clean and good. Bathrooms are very clean. Food is good. I had been here twice, once in 2020 and then in 2024.
