Terrible Experience at OYO 65197 Hotel Green Wood Resort, Solapur. I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at OYO 65197 Hotel Green Wood Resort in Solapur, and I must say it was one of the worst stays I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything about the hotel was disappointing, from cleanliness to service, food, and overall management. 1. Poor Cleanliness and Hygiene The first thing I noticed was how dirty and unkempt the hotel looked. The lobby was dusty, and the furniture seemed old and worn out. The room was no better--the bedsheets and pillow covers had visible stains, the floor was sticky, and the bathroom had a foul odor. To make things worse, the bathroom fixtures were either broken or rusted, and the towels provided were damp and smelled bad. 2. Terrible Customer Service The staff at the reception was unprofessional and unfriendly. Instead of welcoming guests with a smile, they seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It took them a long time to check me in, and when I requested basic amenities like fresh towels or soap, they took forever to respond. Room service was just as bad--food orders were delayed by over an hour, and when I called to check on my order, they simply ignored my calls. 3. Unhygienic and Low-Quality Food The hotel claims to offer delicious food, but my experience was the complete opposite. The menu was very limited, and many items were unavailable. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, stale, and tasted horrible. The cutlery provided was dirty, and even the drinking water had an unpleasant taste. It was clear that hygiene was not a priority in their kitchen. 4. Poor Maintenance and Facilities Despite advertising good facilities, the reality was completely different. The Wi-Fi barely worked, the air conditioning in the room was broken, and the TV had no proper channels. The swimming pool, which looked nice in pictures, was filthy and unusable in reality. There was also a bad smell all around the hotel, possibly due to poor drainage. 5. Overpriced and Not Worth the Money For the kind of service and experience provided, the hotel is completely overpriced. The room rates are too high for the poor quality of service and unhygienic conditions. They charge extra hidden fees, and they do not offer any proper justification for them. Final Verdict: Stay Away! If you are planning to visit Solapur, I strongly advise against staying at OYO 65197 Hotel Green Wood Resort. It is poorly managed, unhygienic, and offers terrible customer service. There are many other hotels in Solapur that offer much better service at the same or lower price. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs!

I had a fantastic experience at the resort! The service was exceptional, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The food quality exceeded my expectations, offering a diverse menu with delicious options. Overall, a highly recommended destination for both excellent service and delightful culinary experiences.

Food Tried some vegetarian options they are great. Must try dishes are starters & cold coffee. I missed opportunity to try non veg but heard lot of good things about it . Hopefully will try next time. Hut type seating arrangement These huts gave unique to restaurant. Surrounded by lush greenery. Perfect place to dine in. Rooms Probably one of the most spacious mid budget hotels rooms. Some rooms also has bathtubs. Also they have wide gallery for each room. Owners & staff Both father son duo been great optimistic visionary personalities. Staff is really cooperative & customer friendly. Additional things Macaws bird. Different dogs breeds - Husky (Russian wolf dog breed), Dalmatian, Labrador. Ducks.

Surprisingly great in such low tariff....really happy to visit this resort. Room was big, tv ac bathtub facilities are provided as quoted. Restaurant service is also good & so is the food. One who wants to feel the peace must visit the place. Bal only view was awesome. Liked the natural ambience and peace in the atmosphere of the resort. Staff is good and attends you in very polite manner. More hygiene is although expected.

First, They charged way more than what's on website. And the rooms are not at all worth the rates. They don't even give you a water bottle or a couple of towels.. Rooms don't even have quilt.. they have some cheap chaddars.. The room I was staying in had all the paint worn off the walls.. Toilet Flush did not work and someone's feces were floating in there.. I don't know who gave it the name "GREENWOOD RESORT".

Costly food. Don't forget to check your bill statement. I visited 10-12 times and always charged more without any reason. Irrelevant extra charges. Fish is very smelly and full of masala. Nonveg food I won't recommend. Veg is good. Late service.

Really bad experience in this property to stay. Very arrogant and rude staff. No cleaning in the room..no wifi dirty washrooms .. dust everywhere ..fan not working in the room..really bad experience..I share pictures of the room look how dirty it is..

First not given rooms as promised.Hotel staff very rude . Brd linen not clean. Despite asking nit changing the same.Forcing us to.use the same.less said the better about toilets and bathrooms. No one to attend in the morning. No one to.serve morning tea even at 10 am . Not to.stay in this hotel
