Niwant Sagar Beach Resort

Rooms and location are good, but the service has become extremely poor. We visited this place two years ago and had a great experience. I even recommended it to many people back then. However, things have changed drastically since our last visit. The maintenance has declined, and the service is now pathetic. There are 5-6 stray dogs constantly near the rooms, which can be a major concern, especially if you're traveling with children. I would strongly advise families not to consider this place. The service staff seems indifferent to guests' needs. The kitchen attendant, in particular, behaves as if he's doing guests a favor rather than providing proper service. He barely listens to requests, making the dining experience frustrating. Overall, I would no longer recommend this place. It's disappointing to see such a decline in quality over time.

My Family of 35 people really enjoyed staying in the Resort, Great View, excellent location. Subhash bhau as Manager and Nitin Bhau in Kitchen and staff great support and service provided from them. The massive size of property to roam. Highly recommended to everyone who has plan to visit Shrivardhan.

beware of dogs.... see, giving a proper review. I literally spent three days for searching a resort that has private beach access. this property has it. did pre booking. once i reached the place, i loved the ambience, completely surrounded by trees. rooms were clean. caretakers are awesome people. ajji and ajoba were lovely.. but only one thing that messed our trip... Dogs.. literally 8-9 stray dogs, that are in the property. they sat on chairs, tables, varandas of the room and also didnt let us visit the beach through the property... i mean???? i literally booked hotel for its access to beach.. it was early morning and we wanted to have a nice walk, but dogs didnt let us go, we had to take our car, and we went to beach from the main beach road which was literally 1 km from the place.. so disappointed with it. Owners should look into this. dogs were aggressive with us and one of them grawled t my husband.. if u have kids.. think properly it might be harmful to kids

The resort is amazing, located within walking distance of the beach. The food is excellent, making it a perfect place for groups and families. We make it a point to visit here at least twice a year. Highly recommended!

This place was a good close stay to the beach, you can see the beach from the property but it's a lil 50 to 60 meters walk. - Good gateway for family and friends. - Good staff. - Good food. Was sceptical to go out leaving the property at night as the surroundings are dark and no street lights. Things to improve: Rooms - At least put on mosquito nets to windows for the ones who want to keep the windows open and rest at night. - Beds were uncomfortable - Moss and fungus on walls are very unhygienic for visitors with respiratory problems.

Rooms are good. Meals not tasty (both veg and non veg) . Kitchen staff is different and Room Staff is different. Beach is accessible. Environment is good.

We stayed at Niwant Sagar over the weekend and were disappointed with our experience. The room was not cleaned properly, and there was a significant gap between the floor and the door, allowing insects and frogs to enter, which is quite concerning. While the food was decent, the service was slow, and they were unwilling to accommodate special breakfast requests; Pohe seemed to be their only standard option. The location is nice, but I wouldn't recommend it for families, as alcohol is allowed on the premises. This can create an uncomfortable atmosphere if other groups are drinking outside the rooms. Additionally, if your group has more than five people, be prepared to be allocated a single room with just one bathroom, which is not ideal.

I visited this resort with my family. It's very peaceful. The rooms are clean and the surroundings are also beautiful. The resort is near the beach so any time we go there. Their service is very good and the food is very tasty and hygienic. 10 on 10 for food. I would love to visit again. The only problem i faced was mosquitoes. make sure to bring mosquito repellent with you.
