Hotel Omkar - The Best Holiday Home

We stopped here unplanned on our way through the coastal road towards Goa.. the host was extremely polite. The food was really well made and tasty.. we had surmai thali and pomfret fry with solkadhi. We were very hungry and by chance found the place.. but their food became our standard throughout the trip and it had set the bar quite high..

Extremely Disappointing Experience / helpless staff and hotel manger / food coast is too high as compared to taste I had a terrible experience at this food hotel and feel compelled to share my feedback First and foremost the food quality was absolutely unacceptable. The dishes were poorly prepared, lacked flavor, and seemed unhygienic. It was evident that the hotel does not prioritize the quality of its dining experience. Adding to the disappointment, the behavior of the staff was shockingly unprofessional. They were rude, lacked basic manners, and displayed an unacceptable attitude toward guests. Instead of providing help or assistance, they made us feel unwelcome. Cleanliness was another major issue. This level of mismanagement and lack of respect for customers is highly unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. There are far better options available that value their guests and provide quality service.

On the way to Velas, we took stop here for lunch. Both veg and surmai Thali were tasty and the price was reasonable too. They also have a rooms for stay and good space in the backyard to sit in open.

This was my first time in kokan, I had wonderful stay at this hotel! Staff provided exceptional service, always attentive. Would like to mention that we were not getting Ukdiche modak anywhere in Shrivardhan, we just shared that with their owner and they made Ukdiche modak specially for us and it was delicious. Also veg and non veg food is really tasty and homely. Highly recommended for veg and nonveg both food.

We went for food 12 in all , Food Taste was very good, however the attitude of the owner was frustrating as if we are asking for free. 1.When 1 person asked for menu, and later second person asked, he respond to check with 1st person. 2.We ordered food at 230pm, 6 Chicken and 4 veg, kids plate had kalegi, when asked that atleast 1 peace of chicken, he got annoyed and with loud voice said you should take another plate. And all other chicken plate had good masala but chicken piece was of bone, as if all was just mixed of curry pieces 3.Another group came and left as owner was not soft spoken My take is, as its only hotel close by on road, and they are not worried about having repeat customers Owner should not sit on counter if does not have smiling face and good attitude. Veg food was awesome, lesson learned when out as a tourist have veg food, less chance of manipulating.

Only serves Thali, tasteless food of both veg n non veg, but is the only available option in the stretch there. Masala chaach is good.

The food is good and has a motherly taste to it. It is a bit far from the beach but overall it's fine
