Meritas Seawind Beach Resort

We went here for 2 nights. Check-in process was smooth. We stayed in their Superior Room (Pearl and Opal). The rooms were isolated and had a patch of grass in front. The place was kid friendly with things like swings, trampoline and pool. There are couple of beaches near to this resort, however, none are within walking distance. The food from the restaurant was pretty nice, since we were travelling with kid, we didn't travel far away from the resort and hence, mostly we had our meals in the restaurant. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The resort is good for family for a relaxing stay. We had good and peaceful time here. The restaurant menu is good and the taste is fine. Cons- No buffet breakfast on weekdays. There is no menu written anywhere for breakfast. Restaurant guys don't give complete verbal info. Regarding the breakfast menu. During check in the reception guy will behave very good and friendly with you but during checkout, he will ignore what you say, acting least bothered.

Stayed here for a night . The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. Tried only the buffet breakfast which was average . Location is decent as the beach is a 5 min walk or the Shrivardhan main beach is a 7-8 min drive. The annoying part was the loud uncomfortable noises from the guests in the neighbouring rooms. While the manager did try once/twice to calm them down but it was terrible. As a family wouldn't want to come back.

Rooms were basic like a 2-3 star. We had booked executive room. Food was good 4-5 star. Location was ok 2-3 star. We got stuck as the road construction was going on. Service was not good 1-2 star as we had to remind them about things again and again. Pool was not clean and small 1-2 star. Game zone was not so good and not clean 2-3 star. Resort has rooms on 2nd floor also. Elders please take care. No lifts.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Meritas Seawind, and it was nothing short of a disaster. As a family traveling with a baby under a year old, we expected accommodations that would facilitate a comfortable stay. Instead, we were met with a series of frustrations and issues that made our time there quite unbearable. To begin with, despite informing the resort of our need for a baby-friendly setup, we were given a room with twin beds that had a significant gap between them. This caused us immense difficulty while trying to sleep as a family, and it was simply unacceptable for a place that claims to be family-friendly. Additionally, the resort had transformed most of the lawn area into a tented setup for an upcoming event. This meant that we were unable to utilize any of the outdoor amenities, which was incredibly disappointing. The lack of access to common areas left us feeling confined and frustrated. The lighting in our room was utterly inadequate. It was so dim that we had to rely on our flashlights to navigate the space, which is not what anyone would expect from a resort. Moreover, the air conditioning system was inefficient, leaving us uncomfortable in the heat. To top it all off, the bathroom situation was dire. The shower barely had any water pressure, and we were surprised to find that no bucket or mug was provided for bathing our baby. This lack of basic amenities was both surprising and disappointing. The swimming pool, which is often a highlight at resorts, was dirty and uninviting. Despite raising our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address any of these issues during our stay. It felt like our complaints fell on deaf ears. Overall, our experience at Meritas Seawind was far from what we had hoped for. With poor service, inadequate facilities, and a lack of responsiveness to our concerns, we cannot recommend this resort. There are plenty of other places that genuinely prioritize guest satisfaction and provide a family-friendly environment. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Meritas seawind beach resort is beautiful place to stay with huge rooms and therefore 6k is worth for it, i personally felt. Food is also delicious but a bit costly. The only thing bothered me was a hot water issue which was fixed too late. Apart from it, a perfect place to stay.

Disappointing Stay I stayed at this resort for two days, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. From the beginning, there was no welcome drink, which was unexpected for a place that claims to offer good hospitality. On the second day, the dental kit was not provided, which is a basic necessity in any decent hotel. The restaurant experience was even worse--despite having idly and onion uttapam on the breakfast menu, they refused to serve a plain dosa for my toddler. It was frustrating and showed a lack of customer consideration. Overall, the service was subpar, and the attention to guest needs was lacking. In comparison, Meritas at Lonavala caters to all these requirements without any hassle.
