The resort exceeded my expectations with its picturesque location, impeccable amenities, and outstanding service. From the cozy and elegant rooms to the delectable dining options, every aspect of my stay was exceptional. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend this resort for a luxurious and unforgettable vacation

It is a decent and a charming place. But swimming in the river unfortunately isnt allowed. There is a lovely Warli painting on the wall in the room. a small swimmimg pool exists on the property and it is filled on request and you can dip your legs in and soak in the forest experience or swim a bit. One may not be able to swim much due to it being small. ||The service by the people at the reception and the guard is good. The place is good for an overnight stay. ||Hopefully the owners will add some more activities that can be done here in near future like indoor sports activities, swings, canoeing on the river etc.

Unlike big resorts, Cibo escape lets you live the life of a villager in quiet, serene and quaint atmosphere. We (2 families, 7 adults and 4 kids) made a last minute booking and checked in at around 10pm on 31st Dec 2018. It took us approx 2.5hrs from Jogeshwari to Shahpur as the roads were filled with ppl trying to get away from Mbai on New Years eve. The temperature at Shahpur was cool and we were welcomed to a Bon Fire straightaway as the kids were feeling the chill. Dinner was ready and we all enjoyed the home cooked food by Mrs. Singh, the wife of the owner Mr. Vinod Singh. There was so much warmth and affection the way we were taken care by the entire family the whole evening, its difficult to get such kind os services in a resort or a hotel. A bbq was also organised at 1am and all of us especially the kids had fun helping us cook the meat. The ladies and the kids retired in the 2 rooms and we gents retired into our cozy tents equipped with beddings, blankets and pillows...2 ppl can sleep very peacefully under the stars. Tea & breakfast (Misal Paav) was served at 10 am. Kids enjoyed in the small swimming pool and were excited to see nature at its best. After soaking in the rural life, it was time to return back to the hustle and bustle of city life, not before experiencing some quality slow life in village settings. We promised ourselves to return back to Cibo Escape ASAP to rejuvenate and would strongly recommend Singh's house hold hospitality. It was an amazing experience for all of us, thank you Mrs & Mr. Vinod for everything.

Love to visit again. The care taker attend us Very well especially one little guy he's so friendly person Champ.Shubham, we enjoyed a time spent with him. Very close to bhatsa River. One Will get an awesome view in monsoon. Just a request you need bit improvments in surrounding of rooms. Other than this we enjoyed a lot complete privacy.

One of the best Resorts I ever visited. A beautiful Riverside view, tickwood forest, tent stay, wonderful natural surrounding, and above all great food. The place offers a barbeque facilities to prepare your own delicious non-veg items in the natural ambience with a great music system to enjoy ur preparations. It also offers u the kitchen facilityDecent service and humble nature of owner and staff makes the stay worth spending. If couples and friends are looking for a good night out nd quality stay this is the place I would suggest.

Well I have no intention to defame them or their livelihood, but at the same need to give spoiler alert to others who are interested in visiting this place. Pros: Nice concept and home cooked food is amazing. Homes are build from natural resources clay and bamboo. Interior is will make you feel comfortable and at peace. Cons: Difficult to reach for 1st timers. Don't trust blindly in Google maps, take help of local village people for proper directions. Just for name it's a resort, only 2 house in the entire property(even the property is small). No amusement stufs, no garden nothing, and yes you will find broken dusted chairs, broken board games etc. For the name of pool, you will find a tiny cement sink hole where you jump and max it can hold 3 people. Attached to resort, you will find a big lake/pond but it's dam deep and it's prohibited to go inside and also you can't do boating etc. Note: Only if you have nothing better to do and vish to visit a place where you just have to be inside room and enjoy authentic Maharashtrian hoom cooked food, then only visit this place.

A nice place away from the city hustle yet very accessible. Remember this a rustic village experience, there are a few mosquitoes, insects, frogs and lizards. But that is just part of the experience. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The food is homemade, tasty, satisfying and a bit spicy. You can request them to make plain Dal n Rice or eggs if travelling with children. Our 3year old loved the experience. It was her first time staying in a quiet village where the only noises you here are of the birds chirping, wind and rustling leaves. It can get a bit boring because we are so used to being busy all the time. Just switch off, carry some books and board games. There is a fresh water pool to cool off too. The caretaker is good and does the best he can. The fan in one of the rooms wasn't working, luckily the other room was vacant and we shifted. The fan in the other room was very noisy. There are 2 hammocks, 1 of which is torn. Apart from these small inconveniences, we absolutely loved the stay.

Last Weekend I was looking for a place to relax & unwind and be close to nature, But that was not all. I also wanted a place that could accommodate my sweet little cat "Chichi"; whos been confined to the apartment & I really wanted her to experience the outdoors. Cibo was kind enough to understand my need as pet owner himself. ||||Mr. Vinod Thakur the owner of Cibo was kind enough to inform me that this isnt your run-of-the-mill resort its a Farm-Retreat & we must build our expectations accordingly. The best part being I & my wife hate these regular resorts which are nothing more than another "Apartment' with room service. ||||I totally enjoyed my stay here, it was almost like living in a village hut (but with A/C) :). The food was quite delicious & very rustic, just the way I like it. And the one who enjoyed the most was my Cat, she had a ball of time exploring the outfoors & following us around. We enjoyed the most on the small water-fall which is on the flowing river. ||||Have you ever tried playing "Monopoly" with Booze? Thats what we had bought for ourselves & throughly enjoyed cutting off from the Mobile & Internet for the weekend. ||||The Host Mr. Vinod is also a Gem of Person & it was nice meeting him. We shall come here again surely, as my cat was the most upset on our return :).
