I recently had the pleasure of staying at Stone Wood Hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The rooms were well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and offered all the modern amenities one could need. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view from the balcony was a beautiful bonus. One of the standout features was the peaceful ambiance. Whether you're lounging by the pool, enjoying a meal at the in-house restaurant, or simply relaxing in your room, the vibe is calm and refreshing--perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and freshly prepared, with a mix of local and international options. The service was prompt and friendly throughout my stay. Overall, Stone Wood Hotel is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and relaxing retreat. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

The hotel is nestled in a quiet, green part of Amboli, making it a great escape from city life. The surroundings are lush and peaceful, with plenty of fresh air and beautiful views. It's a great spot if you're looking to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the Western Ghats. Rooms are neat, tastefully decorated, and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. However, the room size felt a bit tight, and the bathroom was quite compact. Towels and toiletries were provided, though the quality could be improved. I specially thank the reception holder, MRS SAMRUDHI , she was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth. I really appreciated how attentive they were, especially at the restaurant and reception. Stone Wood Hotel is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families looking for a peaceful retreat in Amboli. If you're there for sightseeing, relaxing in nature, or a quick getaway, it ticks most of the right boxes.

Excellent Experience!! The surrounding atmosphere and staff was very friendly. The room was spacious, clean and very equipped and amenities provided was top-notch.The location was perfect and close to nature . Breakfast was good . Indoor and outdoor games were provided and excellent amenities. Enjoyed a lot !!!

The resort has good clean hygienic rooms and well maintained lawn. The 2 stars that I have given are only for the above two reasons. The restaurant/cafe has limited options, slow service and they are short on the staff as well. The most shocking thing was they have hired a staff named Mr.Fernandes who knows nothing about hospitality. He kept on insulting us everytime when we had a conversation. The same thing was experienced by other guests as well.We even complained to the manager about this but I dont think it was taken seriously. Over all it was not that smooth experience here. Would not recommend any of my friends to visit this resort again.

The staff is courteous and highly cooperative, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were spacious and clean, with pool view. And the staff were incredibly friendly. The only downside was the limited breakfast options since the room count was less. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure!||We have requested for special arrangements the team have managed well and the food was delicious. I called the hotel to inquire about a booking, but I was shocked by how I was treated. The receptionist was extremely arrogant and spoke to me with a disrespectful tone, as if I were bothering her or didn't deserve basic courtesy. I felt like I was being treated like a third-class visitor -- not as a potential guest. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially for someone representing the hotel. It made me lose all interest in staying here, and I hope the management seriously looks into how their staff communicates with customers. First impressions matter, and this one was truly disappointing.
