Hotel Maharaja Regency

Hotel is good to stay for business trip. Service is very poor, need to inform them multiple times. There is no AC controller in room, you need to inform the reception everytime. Wifi is another pain, gets disconnected after 1hr, you need to again sign in.

Hotel Location was excellent. Specious parking lot. Restaurant ambiance was very good. Cleanliness in the room definitely needs more attention. Light bulb/ tubelight above the big mirror was missing which caused considerable discomfort while getting ready. WIFI was NOT at all satisfactory as it was frequently getting disconnected and that was very irritating. Morning breakfast was decent as expected. Room Rent (for a city like Satara) was too high. Overall (as a first timer) good experience.

If you are used to European/Western standards like us, then you will like this hotel. Although it's a bit pricier for Indian conditions, you get decent rooms and good service. The rooms are clean, have fast wifi access (even ethernet plugs), AC and the bathroom is also well equipped. The receptionist, who works mostly during the day, is cute and friendly and speaks English well. We would recommend booking the hotel online as prices on site are a little higher compared to Agoda/Booking.com

Decent stay for the price. Key highlight is the view of the city landscape from the balcony and a good location. And alright food, though obviously value is quite mixed. Staff were responsive but unprofessional. Case: Called a helper to fix the issue of the TV not working and his lack of knowledge in tech led to retorts or answering back Car Parking is available. This place is located atop a hill, so keep that in mind as steering your car uphill is not easy. Location includes a Shivaji Statue and a marketplace nearby but no alternate food options in my experience. Rooms were okay. The centralized A/c does its effect but its blades were broken. Still functional though. The bathroom had a translucent see through sheet, in a room where a family was staying. A very bold choice as the silhouette of the person who was bathing could be seen.

Not good in cleaning and not seems worth for money we are paying. Good location and food test is good but with very limited option. Lots of scope of improvement. Hope so next time I could able to find some difference

I had a very good experience here after a hotel cancelled my reservation at the last minute. I was stranded with a small kid at night. I called the manager and there was no room available. I got a return call in 2 mins saying they have a cancellation and I was accommodated at the routine tariff. Usually in such situations hotels try to get the most out of a customer. But here the manager was very courteous and helped my family get the room at 10 pm. The room was decently well appointed and airy with a view of the mountains and city. The breakfast was tasty and warm for a 3 star fare. Thank you to all the staff and manager here.

Best place to stay. Location is near bus stand and the food is also good

One of the best hotel experiences i have had in quite some time. from the pricing to the hotel rooms, the service, the hygiene, the food, everything is on point. please keep up the good work we rarely get hotels like this. Perfect for family & friends stay
