Stayed there two nights as part of a group booking while on tour of the area. Plus points: pretty near centre of town, reasonable parking, standalone building, good looking facade. |On the other hand, rooms are small and not air conditioned. Sheets ok clean. Watch out if you are staying on twin sharing basis, you only get a double blanket so you might land up cozying up to your roommate. Bathroom is decent, clean but no hot water. They promised hot water in the taps 7 am to 11 am but I was not able to indulge despite being well within the said timings. As for towels, less said the better, hence just two words - ragged, stained. So as always, advised to carry own. |Room service works , provided the phone works - mine didn't but my friend's did. Food is ok, very spicy even for that area. Safest to eat omelette with toast/ pao/ roti. |Interesting quirk: rooms are not numbered but lettered - I stayed in S, my friends were in Q.
Major HONEY BEE PROBLEM only pro: Location was perfect for us so we booked 2 rooms. Cons: 100% payment was asked at check In and then problem started: 1. Non ac room with only one table fan that to was protective netting was removed 2. Major issue was HONEY BEE lot of them have gathered just outside window and they were coming inside from bathroom And hotel staff did nothing they already knew the issue and asked us not to open the window (single sting can cause huge pain still they did not bothered to give such a room to customer) 3. Toilet jet spray was not there So we stayed in NON-AC room with ONE TABLE FAN and WITHOUT WINDOW Horrible stay not at all recommend We stayed there because whole satara was booked for marathon Note: asked them about honey bee issue we stayed in September 2023
We booked this hotel after checking reviews here. ||||Neat and tidy room. Good Service. Staffs are very polite. Simply awesome food. As someone here said if you visit Satara you must try their restaurant even if not staying. Location - Bus stop is very near and 7 kms away from Railway station. Only small issue is no 24 hrs hot water service yet hot water is available from 7 am til afternoon. Real value for money.
It's a decent stay for a small town. Sleep quality is good, as the rooms are away from the traffic noise. But the room numbering is weird; all are 111, and separated by alphabets, 111-A, 111-B, etc.||Don't expect most additional features, gym is dysfunctional, balcony has boring view, etc.||The A/c in the room leaked water, so needed to keep a bucket under it, whole night.||The staff is friendly in general, but especially annoying is their attitude regarding hot water for shower. It's only available from morning 7-10, it seems, and if you ask for hot water at any time other than this, they became rude, and said it'll only be available at the allocated time. So in case you need to leave earlier in the morning, like for visiting Kaas plateau, you'll have to bath in cold water.||The food in their restaurant is very tasty, though. They've got a decent chef, perhaps.
A very unkempt hotel, with free roaming dogs and cats in the compound and reception area. A dirty dimly lit reception, complete with dirty reception, with an equally uninterested staff received us when we landed up at 2100+ hrs. The hotel looked spooky and unwelcome. Even the restaurant was closed and even when asked they were not willing to do anything to serve us. Reason -> Ekadashi - so restaurant was closed (in a hote?)! Most nearby places were also closed. Finally, thanks to Dominos we had a pizza -of course we had to drive out again even though we were tired, to get the grub.||Rooms -> Old furniture in a tiny room with working airconditioners. Bathrooms with uncleaned wall tiles and buckets. No hot water till 0700 hrs. A well functioning TV with most channels available. A saving grace for our kids!||Overall - the worst ever experience in any hotel, B&B or home stay - in all my travels across India so far. Anyway it it not comparable by any standard to any foreign boarding facility. The stay to break our drive trip really jolted us back from the nice holiday we had till then. We packed our bags and left the next morning early enough to reach home and take a proper shower and rest.
A nice hotel with spacious parking. Room is very comfortable and good and so is the service of the staff. It is a decent low budget hotel in a small town like Satara. Only problem is early morning you will not get tea or coffee.
Stayed here while visiting Kaas plateau. Situated in the quieter suburb of Satara and near the highway. Room was neat with small balcony. Ordered breakfast which was tasty.||Overall value for money hotel. Booked through yatra and did not recieve a confirmation from the hotel until the last moment ! Would recommend this for a stop over.
