Lake View Nakshatra Baug BBQ resort

Nakshatra Baug is an idyllic getaway from the hustle n bustle of Pune. 45 KMs away, this location is right after you cross Rajgurunagar, on the Nashik highway. It is a rustic stay, with tents and rooms available, ideal for group of 15-20 friends, family. You get non AC rooms, a great location to unwind, delicious good food made to order. In the evening you can opt for bonfire and bbq (at an extra charge). You may spend your day doing nothing, or taking a swim in the lake, or go trekking or fishing, or just lay down and read a book. The rooms are not accessible by wheelchair. There are 2 lovely and very lively dogs here. You can get your pet as well. The owner and the support staff are extremely welcoming.

Great for friends who would like to camp near a water body in a place which is easy to access but away from the hussle bussle of city. The dogs are lovely, view is lovely and the food was awesome. Best of luck to the team, you place has so much potential... hope to see more water activities like night kayaking and kayaking picnic in future ;)

I was here at this awesome place with serene landscape view. I spend 4 days here. I enjoyed swimming in the open water. I followed all my workout routines and I was served with yummy tasty homemade food. I would recommend you to ask for Biryani made with lot of love. I would highly recommend this place for camping and day visits.

I spent a week in July 2020. I must say it was the best decision I made during last lockdown in Pune. I enjoyed my yoga practice, usually running workouts and swimming. I loved the mornings over a coffee and mind-blowing view. I loved the homemade food and hospatility. I will highly recommend this place for camping and casual visit.

Hi.. This is THE BEST place , especially right now in this lockdown situation !!! I planned to visit this place for 2days (landed up staying 4 days ) on 17th Aug ,after stayed at home since march. When I reached there i met the owner Mr. Athalekar and he took me to show the surroundings and immediately the scenic views of this place ( especially deck like place over a lake- check 1st photo) whispered to me that this is the exact place i was looking for. It's kind of rugged and off beat place to be in , if you like nature and serenity of it this is the place for you. A nearby lake is cherry on top, you can go for swim ,try kayaking (Ishani - the adventure activity expert, who is helping Mr. Athalekar to develop this site ,is in charge of kayaking) The food offered here is not only delicious but also simple yet healthy ,the main reason behind that its served with nothing but love :) Its perfectly safe as there is bundle of cuteness to guard you ie Nikky a rottweiler dog. (Yes this place dog friendly) There are 2 types of accommodations available -tents and room (or you even can bring your own tent), 24hrs hot water. Room offers panoramic view of lake (see image 3)- you can sit there and can spend hours looking calm water. This place is with plenty of trees surrounded by, so every picture you click will be green shade in it :) Due to rain its lil bit slippery so take precaution while roaming around. You can either come n stay for couple of days or can come n stay for longer duration for WFH( Work from Home). Art lovers, writers, poets can think about this place its nice option to bring out creativity :) If you still reading this long review you must have got it by now that what an amazingly calm and relaxed stay i had !!! Please visit this place this is the best stress-buster !!! Foot Note - There are sort of gym weights as well for fitness freaks - dont worry you wont miss any of your exercise regimes ( plus you can request for diet food as well if you want ;)

Excelent place to unwind, You can go to the nearby lake for a swim especially during COVID times where no pools are open Food is awesome. Thank you Prajakta for excellent hospitality. Rooms are very basic. Property USP is its location and food

Great place with a waterfront view! The pets Niki and Boy make for good company! The food is prepared by the host making the experience very personal! Do not miss the water sports and swims in the lake!!

A green, leafy lakeshore location away from the city bustle. Friendly company, home- cooked local cuisine, fruit picked right off the tree, and peace and tranquility. Well worth the time spent getting there.
