SaffronStays Chikoo Wadi - 3 BDR pool villa in Palghar

I recently booked a 1-night stay at Chikoowadi by SaffronStays. Overall, the stay was pleasant. At first, the property feels like it's in the city, but once you arrive, it's surprisingly peaceful--far from the city noise and pollution. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are clean and large. However, the swimming pool was not well maintained. Since there are chikoo trees nearby, leaves and rotten fruits often fall into the pool area, creating a bad smell. There were also a lot of mosquitoes and flies, making it difficult to enjoy the pool or garden areas. Surprisingly, there was no shower area near the pool, which is a basic facility one would expect. No amenities available, and the service was just good. Mr. Rahul, who was present at the property, provided us with good service served us well throughout our stay. The food was okay not extraordinary. The meals were quite basic . We paid 14,000 (including tax) for a one-day meal package, which felt overpriced. The menu lacked variety, and there were no starters included. It seemed like the property cuts costs in the food department while charging guests a premium. Food did not meet our expectations. Lastly, for dessert, they served basic vanilla ice cream from Kwality, which was quite disappointing. We had to specifically request the staff to bring one family pack of chocolate and one of vanilla, as the quantity provided was not enough. It felt poorly planned for the price we paid. While the location is peaceful and the property has potential, the overall experience doesn't justify the high price. SaffronStays seems to overhype the property. Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5

I had an amazing stay at this villa! The place is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making it incredibly comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious options that left us satisfied. I highly recommend this villa to everyone and would definitely give it 5 stars. Don't miss the chance to visit - it's an experience worth having!

The bungalow is extremely beautiful and clean. Very friendly staff and they cook lovely food... Overall enjoyed the stay.

HOuse has old world charm with beautifull teak and antique furniture. Spacious with lots of trees and greenery. Fantastic pool. Kids really enjoyed. Small river type body touching the property. Very nice to relax and read book too. Evening BBQ is delicious. Home food is tasty. Beach activities 25 mins away with Camel, Horses, Karts, Buggies etc.
