Extremely Disappointing - Not Worth a Single Penny! This place is a complete letdown. It's not even a real hotel - just a commercial shopping complex awkwardly converted into rooms with no sense of comfort or hospitality. The bathroom was in terrible condition, with barely any water and what little there was came at a painfully slow trickle. The room itself was unhygienic - dirty floors, stale smell, and poor maintenance all around. The reception staff was shockingly rude and unhelpful, saying "no" to every basic request. No extra towel, no proper check-in assistance, no service at all. The restaurant is overpriced with tasteless food - not worth your time or money. The entire place felt chaotic, with constant disturbance and zero sense of peace or privacy. The worst part? You can easily get FAR better hotels in the same area - cleaner, more comfortable, with genuinely good service and a far better dining experience. Avoid this place at all costs. This was a total disaster of a stay.

Pathetic day staff, after giving them room key for cleaning the room, the room was as it is unclean, nor fresh towels were kept, no water bottles. Night staff and day staff keeps blaming each other for not doing work. People plz book wisely. their are many other good hotels in ratnagiri. why to pay these guys for such poor service.
Rooms are not maintained properly. We stayed in Executive room. Service is poor. Nobody picks up the call in Room No. 217. They have a restaurant called Wah Malvan. Ambience of restaurant is very good. Breakfast has limited options but food was nice.
Our stay at VITS was ok. The hotel is situated in a commercial complex and does not have its own building. We checked-in at 3:45 PM and when we tried ordering bread butter and tea we were told the restaurant is closed so we can only have tea. There was nothing to eat till the restaurant opened at 7:30 PM which was very inconvenient. We were hungry the whole day and never expected even some biscuits and bread cannot be arranged by the hotel. The hotel room was very congested with hardly any space to walk about. Both the days there was no hot water for bathing. Not even lukewarm. We had to use cold water!! The hotel also very easily told us to empty 4-5 buckets after which we will get hot water. So much water wastage!! Lastly the housekeeping service is almost zero. The bedsheets and curtains were dirty and unwashed. When we reached back to the hotel the next day after sightseeing the housekeeping person was still cleaning our room at 3 o'clock....even when we had left at 8 AM. The only positive in our stay was the food. The only reason why we didn't check-out early was the food was good. We ordered dinner to our room and tried a variety of veg dishes and all were tasty as well as reasonably priced. Mr. Kushaal who brought us food and attended to us in the restaurant during breakfast was very well mannered and courteous and did his work well. The reception staff too was nice and did our check-in/out formalities in a timely manner. But the overall experience was not worth the money we spent here mainly owing to the bad housekeeping.
Rooms are good. Morning breakfast less varieties but good. Malwani food at restaurant is yummy to full my tummy. Location is in city. Cleaning is good. All staff is friendly and polite. Quality of room amenities are provided. Thank you Vits.
I recently stayed at this hotel and felt compelled to share my experience. While the room itself was acceptable, there were a couple of significant issues that affected my overall stay: WiFi Issues: The hotel advertises having WiFi available throughout, but in reality, the connection only works in the lobby. If you need reliable internet access, don't count on the in-room WiFi--it's best to plan accordingly. Slow Check-In: The check-in process was notably slow, taking approximately one hour before I could get settled in my room. This delay was frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. Overall, I'd give this hotel 3 stars. It might be suitable if you're not heavily reliant on internet connectivity and can handle a bit of delay during check-in, but there is certainly room for improvement.
We gone there for birthday of one of my friends. Wah malwan restaurant at 3rd floor. We enjoyed our dinner with delicious food and best mocktail. Varieties of veg and non veg. Fish malwani is very tasty and authentic. Staff is polite and friendly.
Spacious room with spacious toilet, excellent food, sumptuous breakfast & other dishes, lot of variety in breakfast, very very courteous staff responding immediately to requests. Only no individual water heater, tv remote was not working properly though staff tried.
