Shriramkrupa Homestay

It was a great stay I would say. Someone can definitely recommend this place if they get all the things under budget and such cooperative owners so I do recommend it. Basically it gives you a complete village feeling which so many people are missing in big cities. You will enjoy the real beauty of nature if you select this location. The food they provide is very tasty in breakfast with basic prices (Just provide a prior information about what you would like to have and it is a paid service but worth it). The rooms and washrooms were as clean as shown in the picture on the website. A big satisfaction about room services and cleanliness. Beds and blankets were neat and comfortable. Hot water (only in the morning), drinking water, and an open wooden cupboard is available in the room. A mosquito net is provided over each window. They also arrange local transport if you ask for it. Or else the location is prime and located between ST stand and Ratnagiri railway station hence, you can get any transport facility easily at walking distance.Good restaurants also at walking distance. You can get a ghaavn and khobrryaacii cttnnii in breakfast if you are lucky and so we were. It was yum. We can't forget that taste. During our entire stay we never felt like we were staying far away from our home. If I visit kokan again I won't search for another homestay for sure. Thank you so much. Very clean and hygienic room,owner was very friendly..at this price it'worth it

Me, my wife and 1 year old daughter stayed at this place during 15th august. The owner is very friendly and polite in nature. He guided us to the local hotels for food which was super tasty. Also suggested places to visit around. Rooms are near and clean. The location is in the heart of the city from where you can get any public or private transport easily. Anyone looking for a budget travel this is a perfect place.

The owners are very friendly and the rooms are quite spacious. It is 3km away from the beach and very close to bus stops so it's in a great location. There are 2 rooms good enough for 2 people and another dorm good enough for about 4 people. It cost us only 600/night for a room, though there are additional charges for using the AC. No alcohol is allowed here and the owners are also vegetarian.

A must stay if you're planning to have a budget stay.. The washroom seems clean except for we found previous guests soaps inside it.. TV was working with a package/channels included the last hotel we stayed in didn't have any package/channel purchased. Beds were clean and quite comfortable.. Windows had nets to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from coming inside the room.. Hot water is available in morning.. Outside the room you get a good natural view which makes you feel like totally being in a village.. There are good options of restaurants near the hotel.. Also the hotel is quite close from highway so you may easily have a stay here.. The only flaw I found was they have made the rooms inside their bungalow itself(on first floor are the rooms on ground floor they live).. This doesn't go well with me.. But if you're fine with this then this is the right place to live!!

The place is strictly okay. Just about manages to fulfill your basic needs. We had traveled over night and needed a place to freshen up, so came here for couple of hours. They have rooms and common shared dormitories. Basic hygiene covered. It's definitely a cost saving option. Budget hotel. If any one is planning definitely check the availability, as they also have people staying permanently in common dormitories.

It's nice, neat and clean place. You get a good place to stay with basic amenities. Hot water in the morning from 7:30-9:30 am. You will not get soap, towel. It's located in the heart of the city, main market. You get ample of options nearby to choose from when it comes to eating. If you want stay in your budget, you may come here.

This place is Ideal and safe for people looking for a budget accommodation. The owners stay on ground floor with guest rooms on first floor. The rooms are basic but neat and clean. Owners are simple and cooperative. It's a very old but charming house surrounded by natural wilderness - a rarity in cities these days.
