Yes this was though short but good experience... Morning breakfast was ok... especially hapus mango quality was one of the best... breakfast options were also good..Room was cozy, clean and neat. Cooling was good. Staff though not interacted much but whatever interactions we had were pleasant

Disappointing Experience - Definitely Not 4-Star Quality I recently stayed at The Oakwood Deccan Gymkhana Hotel on Bhandarkar Road for a night on 20 Feb with family and the experience was far from satisfactory. While the hotel presents itself as a premium business hotel, it falls short in several key areas. Reception & Check-In: The reception staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was unprofessional and argumentative. Despite booking directly through their website, which clearly mentioned a 12 PM checkout, they insisted it was 11AM and a later checkout would be only permitted for half an hour being 11.30am. Thereafter after showing her the email received Ms Rajani spoke to Mr Sagar who nodded his head in accordance to the email . Simple things being made complicated and unpleasant right from the start. Room Quality: The rooms are outdated and in desperate need of renovation. We stayed in rooms 401 and 405 Superior Category, with 405 having significant moisture cracks and requiring fresh paint. The beds were hard, and the bedsheets were stained with hair strands, making the stay uncomfortable. The room had a noticeable smell, and the corridors were lined with old green carpets that added to the rundown feels. The room allotment also is done randomly. So 401 and next to it was 403 which was occupied and then 405 . Odd number rooms facing the roadside and even numbers facing the building view . Amenities: Lift, in house restaurant and few toiletries. No Wi-Fi passwords were provided unless explicitly asked for. Basic toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste were only given upon request, which shouldn't be the case for a hotel charging 4,480 per night. The complimentary water bottles of 1L were limited to two per room. No other extra amenities. Breakfast Experience: The hotel has an in-house pure vegetarian restaurant, which is clean, and the restaurant staff is cooperative. However, the main issue was with the reception lady failing to pass on our request for Jain breakfast. We informed both at the time of booking and again at midnight after returning from an event, requesting Jain breakfast by 7:30 AM. Despite this, we had to wait until 8:30 AM, causing a delay when we had to attend an event at 9 AM. So lapse from morning as well as night reception staff. Initially, the restaurant staff, unaware of the request, suggested we settle for regular idli and fruits. Only after mentioning that I'd be reviewing my experience did they suddenly become more accommodating, preparing Jain upma and gobi paratha. Breakfast Spread: The breakfast spread itself was average, including canned Real juices (orange and guava), milk, tea, upma, idli chutney, banana, cut watermelon and papaya, poori bhaji, paratha with sabzi, and cornflakes. Toast and butter was given upon request. Overall Impression: While the long-standing hotel staff especially Vikram , was polite and efficient, but the poor management at the front desk overshadowed everything. For the price of 4,480 per night, the value for money simply wasn't there. The hotel's online pictures create the impression of a grand business hotel, but the reality is an ordinary 3-star property or a budget hotel. There's nothing 4-star about the rooms, service, or views. Our view overlooked the road, nothing more. Location is the only plus point for it being at the corner of Goodluck square Conclusion: The Oakwood Deccan Gymkhana needs serious improvements in room maintenance, staff professionalism, and overall guest experience. I wouldn't recommend it, especially at this price point. There are certainly better options in Pune offering superior service and amenitiies .

My Parents stayed at this hotel recently and found the stay really pleasant and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Staff is impolite, specially reception people. When asked for service, they reply bluntly, not at all warm or welcoming. Rooms are okay. Food is okay, not many options though. Location is good.
