Hotel Shreyas

Had the thali here and it was hands down the best Maharashtrian food I've had in a long time. The flavors were truly authentic and everything tasted homemade. The sweet options were especially impressive. Service was excellent and super quick. If you're going as a pair, you'll usually get a table without much waiting. Highly recommend going for lunch, as the thali is quite heavy for dinner. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been meaning to write a review for the longest time but finally doing it. We have been regulars at the hotel for a lot of years now. Their tag line of Home away from home is befitting. Coming to the hotel stay part, it has always been very comfortable. The staff is warm and friendly and accommodative to requirements like gurguttyaa vrnn bhaat(lentils and rice mashed to perfection) to go for my daughter. My daughter learnt to eat all the breakfast item varities thanks to Shreyas. She became a pro at eating everything because we were staying for a good one week. Regarding the thali it's Absolutely delightful! If you're looking for an authentic Maharashtrian culinary experience, look no further. Hotel Shreyas exceeded all expectations. Their Hurda festivals, chaat festivals all have been awesome and one point worth noting is that the owners are always present during all these events overlooking that everything is smooth and seamless. The food here is absolutely delicious, each dish is thoughtfully prepared keeping this tradition intact. I had the Thali meals along with a couple of their signature desserts, Amrakhand and Basundi, both are must tries and pair perfectly with the meal. The service is top-notch, efficient, and genuinely guest focused. Even though the place is always buzzing with visitors, the staff ensures every guest leaves with a positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a well priced authentic Maharashtrian cuisine during their Pune visit!

Amazing restaurant which actually makes you feel as if you are at home (so apt caption - Home away from home) Delicious food. Superb and prompt service. Great crowd management skills. I had been here in Dussehra day and the entrance was full of people, but the seating arrangements were managed so well that everyone could enjoy the yummy food. Buffet breakfast is also too tasty. Misal pav is best seller. Highly recommended when you are at Pune.

Hairs in dinner plate !!!! No hygine maintaned. Food test Worst than any local mess. Due to brand name of hotel shreyas dinning, I planned my wife's birthday there but found worst experience. I do not found basic hygiene. Found hair in plain rice while serving. I stopped eating at that moment complaint about the issue but no surprises they just keep kalm. I was immediately pay charges for both the plate and stepped out. In pune we have lots of options available. I never recommend this place at all. If you know other option please go with that.

Good Maharashtrian food, but extremely mismanaged. We had a reservation and still had to wait outside for 1.5 hours. Even after all our members had arrived, others were allowed in before us. When we raised our concern, the staff casually said "sorry," with no clear explanation. There was no communication about wait times or the seating process, and we had elderly people with us, which made the experience even more difficult. It's sad to see a historic, Brahmin, Pune-based restaurant like Shreyas unable to solve such a basic management issue. In today's time, when people value service just as much as food, Shreyas seems to be falling behind. Loyal customers deserve better -- if that respect is missing, people will eventually start looking elsewhere. Please take this as a positive suggestion. I may have had the worst experience, but I truly hope you work on improving things for your loyal customers.

Hotel Shreyas doesn't need an introduction. One of the classic legends of Pune! If you are around, you have to visit Shreyas and enjoy the surprising variety of flavours for your tastebuds. The thali has plenty of options right from the salad (Koshimbir) to the desserts. The staff is extremely inviting and will keep serving you with love till you are satiated!

Went there with family for lunch. We were 8 and it took about 30-40 mins to get seated. Not bad given it was a weekend. I have been to this place years ago and it was amazing. It's still decent and great value for quality food. It was little sweeter taste than I expected. Almost everything had hint of sugar in it. Typical Maharashtrian hospitality with good food. They ran out of modak which was a bummer.
