Hotel Satkar

I have been visiting here for 20 years now and always love the tea and South Indian snacks. The seating is spacious and comfortable. The service is quick and prompt. The place is clean, and they also have outdoor seating which has a nice decoration of green plants. The place is accessible, and they have free street parking.

Just the location of this hotel is apt and nice. Just outside the Shivaji Nagar metro station and local train station. But except that nothing is good at all. Rooms were very very old..no upkeep. I paid 1500 for a night for a non AC room..which I didn't felt was at all worth. There was cockroach infestation in room..on bed which was disgusting. Sheets were not upkeep, blanket was very dirty. To be honest, just don't go even if you're looking something nearby station. Won't recommend at all.

Very Nice south Indian style Lodge with priority to cleanness. I choose another one when there is no room availability here.

Very clean and neat hotel Best place for stay near old Shivajinagar busstand

Staff is very polite. Hotel is little bit inside from main road. Room was clean and in good condition. Wine shop is near to hotel and some people drink in front of wine shop so females are bit uncomfortable. They also have their own hotel we have breakfast in their and it was good. Shaniwar wada, dagdusheth ganpati, saras baug is near from this hotel. Checkout the timing of saras baug according that plan your trip.

Too high price for what they provide could get better rooms for that price with complimentary food and toiletries. Even they didn't offered water bottle. Never recommend. If not for the time and situation I would never got into that scam place.

They don't provide hot water in tha day time . Only morning 7 to 11 hot water is available. And in the night there is wine shop on the entrance of hotel .. people sit there and drink openly.. what police is doing in shivaji nagar don't no..???

Situated at the heart of the city, near Shivajinagar Bus Stand. The hotel premises being in the prime area seems to be isolated from the crowd. There is ample car parking space with shade. The hotel staff is well behaved and helpful. Rooms are large and spacious. Cleanliness and hygiene is up to the mark. Lift space is too cramped and the road to the hotel seems to be somewhat insecure due to presence of liquor store near to entrance at night. Overall stay experience here was good, no inconvenience caused. They did not not accept card payment during the stay, but may have started recently. The place is good to stay with family.
