Hotel Rutugandh Heritage

Rooms are a bit old but service is good. Location wise also very good.

It's a budget hotel located in the heart of the city. The property is quite old and is situated near Deccan Gymkhana Metro station and just behind the PMT Bus depot. The fact that they allowed free early check-in about 2 hours before the actual check-in time of noon is highly appreciable. It has a lift and an in-house restaurant & bar. The same food is served in the rooms as well without any extra charge for room service. Both the veg and non-veg food are tasty and reasonably priced. The room service needs to be quicker as one must occasionally remind them before getting the food delivered to the room. The staff were courteous, but they need to improve their services. Also, they should at least provide a jug of drinking water and two glasses in the room. The staff is least concerned whether the guests have drinking water or not. Unless one calls the reception or room service a couple of times, they don't even send water, which is pathetic. We were given a clean and spacious room, but the room and washroom had several places where plaster was chipping out. The air conditioning was quite good. There is a 24-hour hot water supply in the washroom.

Location is excellent plus point. Nice helpful staff. Food is also homely so good.If one is not looking for some luxurious experience then this quite a great value for money. However the picture in websites doeant match to the actual hotel at all. Its almost a three storied small building in so e small lane and not such a huge resort as shown in the pictures. Still Safetywise perfect choice if women travelling alone for work or solo vacation etc.. Breakfast was complementary which just served the purpose of morning meal like upama and puri bhaji. What they need to work on is cleanliness old furniture and rooms. Mine was a bigger room super deluxe and my son accompaned me for his college work.WiFi was sufficient there for him to attend his classes online. however the room we had to get cleaned .Staff Mr. Devrukhkar was very decent and helpful who urgently changed all the bed sheets covers and wiped dust to hands er a clean room to us before the classes started. Milk and tea coffee was also of great quality.Charhea were Rs 2100/-plus taxes. Metro station was just at 50 steps from the hotel so very convinient for commuting in different parts of Pune.

It is a 3rd class hotel. It's an old building but even if we go there it's not clean at all. When we ordered food 2 times cockroaches literally vomited me ..plz no one go there ..and when we went to complaint.,they were talking about the food. Then you want to cancel the order, almost halfway through the meal, there are cockroaches coming downstairs, and if they have this language, please don't go Rutugandh hotel Deccan, and you will find very good hotels on Apte Road.

One of the oldest properties in Deccan, at really the heart of the city. You will always get clean toilets and sheets but the rooms are very ill maintained and old now. The latches, hot water taps, cupboard locks don't work. The place has no parking. So you can choose to stay here if you are to spend your day out and coming to the room to sleep.

We were looking for bigger room in budget price as rooms here in Pune are small and it's difficult for me even to move around. Rutugandh came to be a great option. We booked a suite and it is huge 340 sq. Ft with huge rooms with big bed, one couch, with attached bathroom, and one living room with one sofa and two chairs. Ample amount of side tables, big size mirror etc. Buffet breakfast had only vadas, chutney, sambhar, sheera, bread butter with chai. Room service also available and my husband requested breakfast in the room. We had lunch yesterday and that was also great taste with good quantity. Only location is bit clumsy and that was only thing I didn't like. Premises has lift and car parking.

clean and neat rooms in heart of the city, good food provided , terrace is provided for Birthday party or small function.. there is a good choice in city areas

Nice place to stay. Located at Deccan area which is almost nearby to everyone. Food quality of this restaurant is good. I am visit regularly to this restaurant from last 3 years. Staff behavior is also good. We are conducting our meetings here.
