Hotel Kohinoor Executive

I frequently stay at Hotel Kohinoor Executive and always have a great time. It's an affordable and pleasant location to stay. Excellent food and service are provided. Despite its age, the hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is quite polite. I really enjoyed it and would suggest it for your upcoming trip to Pune.

We stayed here for more than 3 nights and rooms were good and spacious. There is a school next to this property so don't expect a quiet stay. Limited breakfast option. Food was ok. The location is good and you can walk and explore the near by areas. Please book the upper category rooms for the best experience as you won't get it in lower category rooms. It also has plenty of parking space.

Professional receptionists and great bedroom cleaner, both always doing their best, but hotel in dire need of refurbishing and cleaning of common parts. |There is a very apparent lack of a general manager and staff training. |For example, the entrance driveway was extremely dusty and full of dead leaves yet several staff just hung around doing nothing. I never had a nod or smile in spite of offering both for the 18 days of my stay. |It's a dirty road so this needs twice daily sweeping. |A general manager |A deep clean. -|A lick of paint|The occasional smile|These would make all the difference as this hotel in charming. I stayed here 15 years ago and couldn't believe how low standards have dropped. I would have checked out if I hadn't already paid in full.

Poorly maintained rooms. Smell of alcohol on the bed. Bed bugs on the mattress and couch. Dust. Electric switches worn out dangerously. The Bathroom is an adventure.

This hotel has good location. Heart of Pune but still not very noisy. And thats where everything ends. I stayed here on 18th and 19th Feb. 2025. We booked almost 3 weeks in advance. I saw a review comment that time posted by some one almost couple of months before that this hotel has roaches. I called up their reception and asked them about it. They said that they had seen it and had addressed it and there are no roaches now. I too believed and booked. After checking in we were escorted to a room on third floor. While entering I saw that room had lot of cracks, all around ,the dorr frames, cupboard joints etc. I became sceptical. And to my horror I saw a dead cockroach and trash on the table as soon as I entered the room with their bell boy. The room was not cleaned at all. I was so furious. This was big let down. I shouted and told him I cannot stay here. He immediately called the reception and one other room on 2nd floor was allocated. This room surprisingly appeared like just renovated and devoid of cracks etc. We ended up staying there. The Don't understand why they purposely traumatised us by showing a dirty room? Next day we went for breakfast, it had hardly any option Idali Sambar, Misal(spicy and devoid of any moong or Mataki,, just spicy liquid). Sliced white bread(neither Pao nor even brown or multigrain bread). Ultimate junk food content menu. Papaya was the only thing good but not much filling. Anyways I had single idali, one slice of bread. Reluctantly had few spoons of missal. Coffee was ok. While leaving I heard people ordering Dosa, Omlette ,boiled egg etc. I was shocked. If I had known I would have had these healthy options. It was not written anywhere nor anyone told us. Again a purposeful successful attempt of harassing us.Please please do not go there at all. Staff is all the times ignoring you. Never apologetic. Corridors were never clean. Lift is not clean.

Shabby and third class rooms and service. Retro staff is so unprofessional. Service is so bad. Food is another nightmare. Suggest everyone not to visit even it is free. Not worth living for 4000 a night room.

Highly unhygienic rooms. Well behaved service staff however reception and management staff are arrogant and unprofessional. |The rooms, decor and upholstery is not maintain and some places fungus, cockroaches etc. management does not respond to customer needs.

Dear Hotel Kohinoor Executive Management, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience during my recent stay at Hotel Kohinoor Executive, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune from 28th November 2024 to 29th November 2024. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with several aspects of my visit. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the room and common areas did not meet the standard I had expected. Upon arrival, I noticed that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned, with glaring issues such as stains, unclean bathroom, etc. This was not only concerning but also uncomfortable, as cleanliness is an essential factor in ensuring guest satisfaction. Additionally, I found that the facilities did not live up to the expectations set by the hotel's description such as noisy air conditioning in the room, unclean refrigerator. These shortcomings significantly affected my overall comfort and convenience during the stay. As a matter of fact, I truncated my stay from originally planned two nights to one. Despite my hopes for a pleasant experience, these issues combined to create an overall feeling of dissatisfaction. I truly wanted to enjoy my time there, but unfortunately, I left feeling that the quality of service and accommodations fell much short of what was anticipated. I believe in constructive feedback and hope that this message serves to highlight areas in need of attention. And I sincerely hope that future guests will not encounter similar experiences.
