Hotel Kapil Residency Pune Budget hotel near Pune Railway station

I made a mistake by ignoring reviews. Had a confirmed booking from Makemytrip and reception manager+owner sitting next, denied check in saying that they gave a discount to you. After reaching out to customer care, they called manager and hotel guys lied saying that they don't have rooms even though 4 rooms were available (which they were showing me as I doubt the quality of rooms before going ahead with option#2, pay 500 extra on the online booking amount. This is a blunder after reaching the location that these hotel owners are doing when you are traveling with family. ** I strongly do not recommend this hotel as staff/owner's behavior is not good, in fact for switching on the AC now they are charging extra money, even though the original booking was for AC rooms **. Waste of time and money! NOT WORTH AT ALL!

The only good thing about this hotel was its location. However, the reception manager, Pramod, was extremely hostile. He initially denied my booking because it was made through Oyo and showed no consideration whatsoever. He seemed visibly frustrated with Oyo. The price I booked through online was lower than what they would normally charge, thanks to the discounts. For some reason, he kept asking why the amount was showing as lower in their system. Clearly, he should be working with Oyo to resolve these discrepancies rather than taking out his frustrations on customers. He did charge me an additional amount for early check-in, which is reasonable, and I am not complaining about that. However, the room we were given was infested with cockroaches. While it seemed clean in the morning, cockroaches appeared later, which was absolutely unacceptable. Anything I requested from him was met with a flat "no." Zero marks for hospitality. It didn't end there--when I pointed out that they are in the hospitality business and asked how they could deny reasonable customer requests, he replied that they are not in the hospitality business. Slow claps... Unfortunately, due to a very tight schedule, I had no choice but to stay here. However, I would never choose this hotel again.

Best hotel with economic pricing. Food, tea are very tasty. Only problem room locking system. It is some what tricky

One of the worst hotel I had ever seen. They will denie you even if your booking is confirmed and payment got done through online. Because they want to charge extra amount(In my view they had asked me 500extra ) if we don't want to pay they will just tell get out of this hotel. I don't recommend this one. Pathetic....

This hotel service is very bad and all the staff are cheap and cheaters. They commit something else and never stand on their promises. They blame the customers only that you are lying and we have not committed anything. String advice to everyone, Please never ever plan to stay in this hotel

Location in some scrap site, Rooms are good clean but ac and lift and other features not working, service is also delayed. Not going to visit again
