However, my only concern is that instead of a single queen or king-sized bed, the room features two beds pushed together. The hotel boasts an exceptionally clean and well-maintained swimming pool, complemented by a beautifully landscaped surrounding area. Operating daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the pool has a maximum depth of 4.2 feet, making it suitable for both casual swimmers and families. In addition to the pool, the property offers dedicated spaces for various sports and recreational activities. Guests can enjoy separate sections for cricket, football, badminton, and volleyball. There's also a designated children's play area and an indoor recreation zone, ensuring entertainment options for all ages. Wildernest was one of the coziest, most aesthetic, and green stays I've experienced in a long time. It was a little expensive compared to other stays in Thekkady, but since it was within walking distance from the main market, we went ahead and booked it. I would rate my stay 5/5. There were 7 of us, and we booked 3 rooms. Each room was quite spacious and had a lovely view from the window. The rooms were well-equipped with essentials like a bed, table, cupboard, sofa, dressing table, etc. Cleanliness was 10/10, especially the bathrooms -- very well maintained. The food was good, though a bit pricey. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and eggs. Tea and coffee could have been better. Despite having a decent number of staff, there was no room service -- you had to go and collect your order yourself. Since the hotel is compact, this wasn't a major issue. Note: There's no pool, even though it appears in some of the pictures online. Both 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler parking are available. The staff were professional and friendly. I'll definitely visit again!

One guest mentioned an issue with their mutton dish being undercooked, though they acknowledged the flavor was satisfactory. The hotel staff received positive feedback for their good service. While the menu was noted as not being particularly large, it offered a sufficient selection to please most palates. The location, overall cleanliness, quality of the rooms, pleasant atmosphere, and efficient management all received high praise, contributing to an experience that guests found universally enjoyable.

I recently visited this resort for a weekend getaway and had a mixed experience. Pros: The location is convenient, and you can easily book an Ola from Swargate for both pickup and return. The resort offers a peaceful environment while being close to the city. For kids they have kids play area to enjoy kids. Indoor activities are well-maintained, and the infinity pool is a great addition. Swimming costumes are available for rent at a reasonable price of 150 per person. They arrange DJ nights, but only on special occasions--having them every weekend would enhance the experience. Cons: The rooms do not have proper king-size beds; instead, they join two single beds, which is quite uncomfortable for couples. The mattresses are not of good quality and may cause discomfort, especially for those with back pain issues. We had booked the stay to celebrate our anniversary and were willing to pay extra for decoration, but the resort did not provide this service. The food was average and could be improved in terms of quality and variety. Room cleaning needs more attention, especially in the corners. Overall, the resort offers a relaxing stay with good amenities, but improvements in comfort, cleanliness, food quality, and entertainment would make it much better.

Every request was met with a smile, and the service was top-notch from beginning to end. Also the food was amazing!!!! Our guests were equally impressed by the stunning surroundings, the impeccable service, and the exceptional accommodations. It was clear that the resort takes great pride in creating unforgettable experiences, and they certainly did so for us. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. Every moment was filled with beauty, joy, and the kind of impeccable service that made our day not only memorable but absolutely magical. We will forever cherish our time here and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to celebrate life's most important moments in a truly exceptional setting.

It's a little offside near Khadakwasla dam. Parking is available. Great indoor games with TT, 2 pool tables 2 carrom and 2 chess tables as on April 2025. Great for a weekend stay for family. Also good for weddings.

It was truly an unforgettable experience.Every moment was filled with joy, and the kind of impeccable service that made our day made memorable The property is beautiful and equipped with all the essential amenities. The indoor games and pool were a lot of fun, and the hall was perfect for our small event.Lunch was buffet and good.
