Hotel Diamond Villa

You get what you pay for. Located right on the historic slopes of kille Panhala, Hotel Diamond Villa houses clean spacious rooms with ample parking. The balconies at the back have a great view of the Sun rising from the trees. The furniture and fittings are set very low - bed, couch, and wash basin in particular. They provide towels, a soap bar and a shampoo sachet. Wi-Fi is unavailable. Not all the lights work, some bulbs aren't even available. Be wary if you're booking a non-AC room in the summer though - our room only had a wall mounted small fan, and there are nets on the windows. So the only way for fresh (or any air) is to open windows and welcome the mosquitoes in.

Pathetic service ever. Owner has no hospitality towards his customers. He is objectionable to everything you do there. I recommend not to choose this , there are many better places ! Only location is good.

first of all, Oyo is fooling people. rooms showed in pic with white bed cover and pillow cover and blankets are not provided. it's local bed cover, pillow cover and blankets as per the village.. Not breakfast or tea before 10 am in the morning. the room is so unhygienic that it's not been cleaned by 6-8 months before. full of dust and used stuff of previous stay of 6 -8 months old. washroom was very dirty. dirties staffs is kind but what is the use of you don't have the best room with amenities. the owner of the property is so kanjus that he didn't even want to buy a mosquito all-out just because it will cost him. TV is available but only one channel to see, that's it. insects in room like ant, mosquito ,lizard near window and spider web everywhere. no no to this hotel again.

Ok, well, it's not exactly right in the middle, but it's so close you could toss a stone and have it land somewhere on the edge of the Old panhala square...and the view...well, we were lucky and got a gorgeous suite with a balcony that opened straight out onto surely what was one of the best views in Panhala hills .. the sunrise omg ........straight down the charming narrow street leading directly onto the hillstation...sitting there, sipping wine, watching the world go by below, wonderful stuff. The suite was very very comfortable, bathroom, bed, wardrobe space, robes, slippers, complimentary goodies, everything good. The staff were extremely discrete and highly co operative, the food superb!!!!!! , you'd be hard pressed to find a fault here.

This place came by chance in the search..and glad that it was a happy discovery.. :)|We were planning to stay at one of the famous hotels here, but it somehow the dates that we were looking at were not available and those available seemed pricey.|"DIAMOND VILLA" - Has been a great savior and indeed a pleasant stay.||Those planning to visit Panhala fort this comes out as ideal stay option just 4kms away, 8 minutes drive by car.|The place is located in the interiors of the main road, which people who are looking for peace and privacy is an ideal deal.||The Villa is huge bunglow,divided primarily into various room as : |1) Super deluxe - AC|2) Deluxe - AC|3) Deluxe - Non AC|Price ranges from 1500 - 2500 per night - excluding Meals(Prices might vary as per season)|The Super deluxe rooms with a small living room and rest only have a single room.|The room is attached with a small sit out balcony that adds up as the perk with the amazing view of the mountains.|The rooms are clean and well maintained,except for washrooms that need little more attention,not bad though.|Food is available as per choice and is good on pocket and taste.|Service is decent and staff is friendly.|Overall a peaceful small weekend getway for sure..!!!||Ratings :|Rooms - 4/5|Ambience - 4/5|Food - 3/5|Cleanliness - 3.5/5|Has wonderful lawn outside for dinners n buffet.|Not just couples but good option for family get togethers.||A place worth paying for..!!!
