Hotel Anand Valley

Positive: Property Location, Room ( AC Deluxe, bed, sofa), Affordable Improvement: Room service, Washroom (Not so bad but not so good) Note to be taken : They don't have a kitchen at the resort ( They will order food from somewhere else. I recommend exploring nearby hotels for food. Hotel Sundar was good. It does not feel so family friendly but manageable.

This place is at a prime location. It's at the top of the hill. And from outside it looks very beautiful. But that's the only positive point. We checked in at 9 p.m. Since we were very tired we decided to place an order for dinner. The attendant took the order and said that it would take at least 30 minutes for the food to arrive. At 10 o'clock, I went downstairs to check on the food. I saw him having his dinner. When I enquired about the food, he said he will in the next 5 minutes go and bring the food. Finally, at 10:30 he brought our food. Food was pretty ordinary. I don't know from which restaurant he ordered, but there was a pebble in the chicken biryani. The veg biryani was tasteless. The AC in our room was set at 16 degree Celsius temperature. The room became very cold. Hence, I grabbed the remote. But I found that it was not working. So, I went downstairs and I told the attendant about the problem. Another attendant came . He was heavily drunk. He was not able to fix the issue. He offered to shift us to another room where the AC was working. But since we were very tired, we declined that offer. We requested for an additional mattress. The attendant gave us a mattress, but it was little bit torn, and it was stinking. At around 11.30 pm, there was a power cut. So the AC stopped working. But fortunately, they had an inverter, so the ceiling fan was working. However, after a couple of hours, the fan also stopped. So, entire night, there was no fan, no power, pitch darkness. The power was not restored even by 9 am the next morning. Not sure whether it was a genuine power cut or something else. In the morning, we requested for some alternate arrangements to be made for hot water for taking a bath. But, he declined. We asked for an additional towel, but he said that all towels were in the laundry. So, he cannot provide us with an additional towel. We stayed there only for 12 hours. No hot water, no AC, no additional towel, pitch dark, no power, and still they did not reduce a rupee, not even a single rupee of the total room charges. This is the level of professionalism.

Overall very bad experience in all respect.. Service, rooms, kitchen stay.. All horrible.. Owner himself is careless.. And the staff is beyond him.. No towels were provided No room cleaning Arrogancy while serving the food.. We ordered mutton thali in which the mutton was not properly cooked..

The room are good. reception services room service in room dining house keeping are all excellent very well trained and responsive staff
