Very beautiful and isolated location. The view of the back waters in front of the room is beautiful. The caretaker Pawar kaka is very good host and the food prepared by him is tasty. Just a note to fellow travellers: Mobile network will not be available for all the carriers and there is no wifi so plan accordingly :-)

This place is really a treasure to find and explore. I have been there for 3 days and 2 nights. The stay is really cozy. The food is delicious, cooked, and served by hotel shivshakti, which is near the resort. We tried both veg and nonveg. The location is fantastic and very close to the koyna dam back water. You can walk to the peninsula, which is right in front of the resort. This resort is surrounded by hills from 3 sides and back water on the front side. The rooms were clean. We got blankets and soap. Towel needs to be carried along. The room sizes vary depending on which rooms you choose. The 2 rooms which I chose, they were comfortable for accommodation of 3 pax per room. Right in front of every room, you get a gallery to sit and enjoy nature. They also have one big room which can accommodate around 8 to 10 people. Every room has a geyser, so there is no issue of hot water shortage. Some rooms even have an inverter. My rooms were backed up by a generator. But I did not face any power cut issue during the stay period. Tea or coffee is served at the premises. Breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner will need to be pre-ordered. The caretaker team will make sure the food is served on time. We tried poha, upma, and sheera in the breakfast. In veg, we ordered whatever vegetables were available. They serve chapati as well as bhakri(i prefer bhakri anytime). In nonveg, they server chicken and fish. We even enjoyed campfire! The caretaker will ask you for this before setting it up. Ample amount of parking space inside resort as well as outside of the resort. The road to the resort is very nice. There was some construction going on on the roadside. But that did not hampered the journey. It took us 6 hours to reach the resort from my hometown Solapur. From Pune and Kolhapur, it is a 4-hour journey. Heads-up: There is no range to any of the mobile networks within a 2kms radius. Also, there is no Internet facility. Jio Sims Catch mobile network when you go a little closer to the peninsula. My VI sim card had a little range, but that was not enough for making calls. I knew this issue as I already had spoken with the caretaker Suresh Pawar. Carry cash with you. This will help to pay your expenses, if any. People who have knee problems, the stairs to the rooms are big. Also, the walking is uphill as this resort is on a small hill. You will need to walk upward. We celebrated my son's first birthday here. It was a memorable stay. I am giving 5 stars for this resort according to my experience.
