U Rivergate Karjat

We had an amazing time at U Rivergate, Karjat! Our group outing was a truly memorable experience. The resort was well-maintained, clean, and beautifully landscaped. We especially loved the lush greenery and the huge, clean swimming pool.||The food was delicious, and the adventure activities added so much fun to our stay -- everything was awesome! A big thank you to the U Rivergate team for such a great experience. We'll definitely be visiting again!

We had a pleasant family stay at U Rivergate Karjat Resort. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and scenic environment ideal for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, neat, and equipped with all essential amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. One of the convenient features was the buggy service available to commute around the resort, especially to the restaurant and activity areas like kayaking. The food offered had a good variety, though the taste could be improved in some dishes. The spread at mealtimes was quite diverse, catering to different palates, but there's room for enhancement in terms of flavor and presentation. We also enjoyed a brief guided tour of the property which gave us a good sense of the various facilities. The staff was courteous and provided good service throughout our stay. A highlight of the trip was the spa -- highly recommended for anyone visiting. The body massage was rejuvenating and added a luxurious touch to the overall experience. In summary, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend the resort for families looking for a short escape close to nature. With a few improvements in the food quality, the experience could be even better.

We had wonderful staycation in U Rivergate recently. It is best place to hangout with family and friends Firstly, food is amazing and delicious. Ample amount of place to walk and talk with your dear ones. But I feel they could have added some more activities where toddlers can play since there is lot of open area in premises. Road to property is little lonely and don't have street lights so recommendation is to reach before evening.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Our room was riverview cottage. The experience has been enriched and we enjoyed a refreshing holiday. The food was very nice, staff is good, you will get a great view of night sky. The swimming pool is bigger one. Activity rooms are very nice. The adventure sports can be improved.

Stay Duration: 12th April - 14th April Dine-in Service - Poor Experience: - On Saturday, there was only one staff member managing lunch and dinner service. While this didn't cause major issues due to fewer guests, it still seemed inadequate. - On Sunday, the restaurant was nearly full, yet only 2-3 staff members were serving. We had to repeatedly ask for basics like tissues, glasses, water etc. Food was placed on the table without proper serving, which made for a disappointing and chaotic experience. This level of service is unacceptable for a property of this standard. Housekeeping / General Service - Needs Improvement: - Although a club cart is available, when we requested it in the morning to go for breakfast, we were told "banda nahi hai." This is frustrating, especially when traveling with elderly people who rely on such services. - On Sunday afternoon, we requested room cleaning and stepped out for almost 2 hours. Upon returning, the room was still not serviced. When we inquired, we were told it was due to incoming guests and check-ins. This is not an acceptable reason, particularly when guests are paying premium charges for a comfortable stay. Overall Thoughts: The infrastructure is impressive, but it's clear the property is under-staffed at times. I shared this feedback during checkout but did not receive a satisfactory response. I genuinely hope this doesn't end up being ignored, as the potential of the place is being let down by poor service.

Rating could've been five stars without doubt but... 1. We couldn't get all rooms ready together in spite of the well in advance booking with full payment 2. One of the rooms AC was being repaired and there was no coordination between service staff and reception. 3. Rooms allotted were sizzling hot due to the metal sheet roof and closed room for a long time 4. It took almost an hour to get settled comfortably with constant follow up and reminders 5. As the rooms are far from reception, electric buggies took so much time to come after calling for one 6. When kids were excited to enjoy kayaking, buggie took us to a kayaking spot without mentioning the closing time. 7. Checkout luggage pickup never happened, we have to take our own cars near rooms and load luggage by ourselves. Now some positives 1. Property is fantastic and well landscaped with well spaced rooms for privacy 2. Interior roads are well maintained and cleaning is proper 3. The reception is a very nice and vibrant place with sofa seats and welcome drinks ( better to sit in reception than to go to rooms with hot air) 4. Many activities to choose from for kids and adults too 5. Swimming pool with unique design and its basement location among the hills like surrounding makes it so soothing and enjoyable 6. Restaurant food is tasty and a lot of Verity to choose from 7. A pleasant surprise was when the Chief Chef offered our group coffee after we finished the dinner 8. Reception staff were trying very hard to meet the varied demands of agitated customers with politeness 9. Housekeeping staff was attentive to the requests 10. Horse riding, Zip-line like experiences are fun for kids and adults. U Rivergate can become a preferred choice for Mumbaikars and their guests if some of the shortcomings mentioned above are taken care of at the earliest.
