Samudra Resort

We stayed at Samudra Resort as a group of 5, booking 2 rooms. Each pair of rooms shares a common private outdoor sitting area, which we particularly loved. It offered a cozy and private space to unwind and added a unique charm to our stay. The location is a bit off-road, and the nearby river was quite unclean, which was a slight disappointment. The overall look and feel of the property were just okayish, nothing exceptional. The resort provided a BBQ setup, and we brought our own chicken, corn, and marination. It turned into a delightful evening as we enjoyed the BBQ paired with wine. It was truly a highlight of our stay. One downside was a group nearby blasting loud music, which disturbed the otherwise peaceful ambiance. Overall, the stay was good, and the private outdoor sitting area made the experience special. Perfect for a group looking for a quiet, private space to relax.

The location is very dangerous, and a sedan vehicle cannot go directly to the resort. We spent an hour trying to reach it. The swimming pool was dirty and not in usable condition, yet they charged us for it. They even charged us for water. The rooms were full of ants. Overall, the resort is not good value for money and is far from the city.

Worst experience, rooms are metal and wood made. Metal is rusted and wood wet and decayed. It stinks of decaying. Property is not gated nor any employee available all time. No food available their, not even good tea. No service of any type. We did not even got bathroom water at night. Only good living thing their was the dogs on the property.

Very hard to find to property. No proper connectivity from main road to reach.veru dangerous stony & muddy road. Average room. Nothing is available except tea.only PPL who r taking care of property is helpful and guide us.

As per money rooms are not in good conditions. Toilets are clean but sometime lack of water issues. Food and breakfast service is not available.only Tea was provided which is not good quality. For childrens there is nothing to play. Only pool area is available for adult children's. So resort is not perfet for family. Also u want to enjoy nature, the river is only thing. From main road to resort,roads are not good conditions. There is no single board or any creativity on entry, when we entered in resort i feel like this is look like residential area.I m not satisfied for there services, area cleanness, pet dogs cleanness, quality, overall experience was so disgusting. Needs to much improvements.

Take a look at the google reviews and then decide for yourself, mainly look at the reviews below 3 stars, you will see the real problems. Our car broke down driving through the mud and narrow paths to reach this godforsaken place. Never put your family or friends through so much trouble and danger as you attempt to reach this place.

It's a pathetic resort. Never have I ever experienced so misguided resort listings. The road to this resort is very freaky. You feel like you are part of Ramsay movie. After going through this, when you reach the resort it makes your worst dream come true. This is not a private bungalow but is a resort which allows multiple guests. The rooms are so pathetically maintained and has weird stink. They have a few pet dogs which we found locked one of the unoccupied rooms. Which gives a feel that they have access to all the rooms. The washrooms and bathrooms are not attached to the rooms. You have to step out of the room to go to washroom plus they are not very hygienic. The utensils used to serve food were also not very clean and gave a feeling that the dogs are fed in the same utensils. It was so depressing that we left the room in 1day though we had booking for 2 days. The owner should really focus on getting the property to a good maintenance level. And this was not just our feeling. I spoke to other guests staying in next rooms and they had same feeling. They in fact fought with the owner as well. It was overall very very bad experience. The positive reviews here are either from the time when this property belonged to someone else or posted by people who personally know the owner.

We were there for 2 days in December 2023. I have never seen any Resort like this one. They have posted photos on site which are real but location is not good at all. I cannot recommend it to anyone. They provided pathetic service. Did not bother about customers. They provided only poha and Tea in breakfast. When asked about other options they said you would need to order in bulk. Who orders food in bulk quantity in resort or anywhere? They have common bathroom and toilet which has to be shared with other people which is worst thing I have ever seen in a resort. Rooms are not clean. We need to call them 10 times to clean the same. They do not cook food there and order food from outside. Dishes they gave were not also washed. They literally fool around people and make money out of it. Do not visit there as its not worth your time and money. Do not fall in trap and waste money. Thanks
