Alibaug Castle

We booked 2 rooms and stayed for a night at Alibag Castle. Firstly, I'd like to call out the valuable guidance offered by Vivek Patil, without which we would've missed seeing few places. He was sompl6 superb and you can count on him for any advice, anywhere is the Raigad district. The rooms are very neat and clean and you get great service. There are only a few rooms offered by this hotel, but great facilities, at a walking distance from Nagaon beach. Only slight downside is the approach road from Nagaon Bunder Road, which is quite narrow and not in the best condition. GPS guided us through the back side on one instance at night through some fields, which was quite a scary experience. The road is in very very bad condition and almost requires a 4*4 SUV, so don't take that road ever! Some good restaurants that serve lip smacking Konkan food at walking distance, notably New Mahesh Lunch Home and Vibha restaurant.

For a budget stay, would recommend this place with clean rooms & all facilities. Vivek the caretaker took great care of us & food from nearby restaurants was amazing. Beach is nearby just 5 to 7 mins walking distance. Enjoyed our stay & hoping to visit once again for a longer stay.

I recently stayed at Alibaug Castle and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were impeccably maintained and clean. A standout was their flexibility when I requested a couple of extra hours for my stay, which they promptly granted without any hassle. The only drawback worth mentioning is the narrow route to the hotel. If a vehicle approaches from the opposite direction, it can necessitate reversing all the way back to the main road. This aside, my overall stay was quite enjoyable.

very nice place for holidays. i went with my fam and had so much fun . everyone here are very cooperative. must place to visit when coming in Alibaug.

Dont know if it was a hotel or homestay. We stayed for two nights and there was no one except us in the building. Although there were security guards outside but it was scary. The beach is far away from the hotel and the road which leads to the hotel is pathetic. It will never get repaired. There are no street lights at night from the main road to hotel which is scary at night. The hotel has no restaurent, you need to order from a nearby restaurent with limited options and they will take ages to deliver. The ac was not working properly and the water in bathroom floor does not go to the drain directy, you have to kick it with your foot. Vivek the caretaker tries everything to help customers, but I doubt if its still enough to revive the sinking ship.

We had booked two rooms for three days for two families. The stay was very good with lots of greenery around and quite peaceful. Beach was also near the place. The caretakers were also polite and humble and guided us for our three day trip.Food arrangements were also good .Overall stay was good.Would definitely visit once again.

This was my second time at this property. Barring the narrow lane leading to the hotel, everything else was great. Vivek Patil is one helpful guy who will help you with anything - ordering food, arranging cabs, local information. Rooms are neat and clean with adequate water supply and power back up. If you love home made food, he will get it arranged at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a quiet peaceful pocket friendly vacation with family/ frnds.

We stayed for 2 nights recently, felt very calm and near to nature. Good service, clean rooms. Nagaon Beach is hardly few min drive. Management team is highly supportive. Since I had traveled without a vehicle, they suggested to rent out bike which solved my local travel problem. I strongly recommend 2 night stay if you are small family or a couple.
